I've been wanting to leave a review since before the pandemic! This place is AMAZING! The atmosphere is lovely, both inside and... outside. Every server I've had has been incredibly friendly. The GM takes the time to stop by and ask how my experience hasbeen. And the food...oh my goodness! Every time I forget how unbelievable it is! I try to order something different every time.I've had almost every appetizer on the menu and they all are so flavorful! I HAVE to have the lobster roll as a main and it isTHEE BEST! The prices are very affordable for the amount of food you get. Their homemade rosemary bread and roasted pepperhummus is addictive! The whole experience was awesome. Fantastic location with a view out to sea, great interesting menu including local wines and... craft beers, superb food presentation and flavours and probably the best server I've had the pleasure of experiencing in manymany years. Wish I'd caught her name as its definitely worth a mention. Not only will I recommend but I hope to return soon! Read more
Very good food. This is fine dining at its finest. The service matches the food, both excellent. My mom had an issue with her... pasta, they whipped up another one super quick. Second time around it was just perfect. Everything else that came out wasflawless. Their beef short rib was to die for and the risotto with scallops was divine. TL;DR : One of the best waterfront dining experiences. Arrived on Saturday for lunch and was able to sit on the patio (sit... outside if you can! The boardwalk offers great views and people/dog watching). Exceptional service. House made focaccia arrivedcomplimentary and it was very tasty. The seared scallops will be the best thing you?ve ever put in your mouth. Lobster roll wastasty, but small portion. Lunch menu is a little more cost effective than their dinner menu. It?s a very nice place in downtown Halifax just by the water. The food was good although we expected more and the service was... excellent. We had the burger which was a bit dry and the Old fashioned Lobster which was great but the pasta below it waswithout a lot of flavour and a bit cold.. For many other places it was enough for 5 stars but here we were just a bitdisappointed. The rest of the dishes we ordered were great. See pic ?. Read more
Came highly recommended and lived up to the hype. The food was absolutely phenomenal. If you're ordering the shrimp or scallop... appetizers, ask for some bread on the side to soak up that leftover sauce. It's criminal to throw that away. The staff were veryfriendly, chatty and attentive. Because of their location on the waterfront, their patio is right up on the boardwalk, so ifyou're looking to enjoy your meal without people constantly walking by you, I recommend eating indoors. Overall a great placethat I will recommend to anyone visiting Halifax. Read more
Excellent Italian food. We got the beef tartare which was quite tasty and the calamari which was light, airy, and perfectly... cooked. The lobster linguine was excellent and the scallop risotto was very rich though maybe a tad on the salty side. Cocktailsand wine selection were great too! Loved the patio atmosphere though it can be a bit chilly - they provide blankets but forcolder evenings a heater would be nice! Read more
Staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate our anniversary. We were lucky enough to be seated with a gorgeous view of the... harbour, and every course of our meal was delicious to the very last bite. One of the best experiences I?ve had in a long time.We felt like royalty, and were given plenty of time to enjoy and digest. The sweet surprise message on our dessert at the endwas a lovely touch. Every element of each plate was perfectly balanced. Our compliments to the chef (the lamb was magical), andto the impeccable service as we never had to wait or ask for someone?s attention.
