Location is perfect in downtown halifax, parking is issue if you live abroad. Layout and decorations are cozy and romantic. ... Quite and lovely ???? ????, I like also the washroom, is it unique as well. Cleanliness was acceptable. Waiting time to getseating ???? was acceptable, once we arrived we found a spot. Although it seems important to do reservations. Time to get theorder, was excellent ???? ???? and we were lucky to have Laurie to serve, she has a smiley ?? ???? face and we'll professionalwhen she takes the order, and well knowledgeable about the ingredients. The Garden is a dream venue. We booked their private space “the Shiraz room” and had the most enjoyable event. The decor is... like nothing you have seen before and sure does wow your guests. I really love the vibe of this restaurant, super chill and cozy. The food I got was the garden bowl, which was okay. The taste... was pretty plain, and some of the ingredients were cold. However, the portions were big and the price was decent. My friend gotthe classic burger, and she seemed pretty enjoyed it. The service was okay. I got the breakfast burrito and beet Caesar. The sauce in the burrito was delicious and the addition of avocado added a lot, it... was beautifully grilled for a nice crunch. The salad was delicious and fresh. I was impressed with the beet Caesar because itwas more complex than just beet juice with vodka. There were other elements of a Caesar I really appreciated. Third visit to this unique restaurant. My friends love it...and they then take others for the food and the experience. The decor... is unique, lavish chandeliers from Iran, globes from Turkey, exquisite wall tiles and scenic photos, with simple modern, somerustic, comfortable furniture. Ceiling to floor drapes, within the restaurant, are elegant and practical as partitions for largeand small private gatherings. The staff put you right at home from the time you enter to when you leave as a happycustomer. Our server, Lydia gave us a tour of the establishment and its history.The decor is a highly successfulPersian/Turkish/Asian/Canadian fusion - and it works! I am so thrilled to share my experience & hope of you’ve never been to this place, you check it out soon. I’ve been a couple... times for brunch and the food and brunch cocktails were great. This time was even better. My fiancé and I celebrated ourengagement with friends and family over the weekend and the staff at the garden really made it easy and so special. Everythingfrom the booking, planning, continued communication, service, consistently checking in, large orders and rounds of drinks.. itwas all seamless and with a smile. Everyone was so friendly, the food presentation and flavours were awesome and we ended upstaying, eating and drinking in the private room for 5 hours! Thank you so much to Kelly (the manager) for coordinating and Ithink Nicole was our primary server’s name.
