Not that convinced. Mixed feelings. I was the only person in there, which made very thing easy in terms of fast service. I am... still a bit skeptical cause in the menu it says the large Doner was 11 but was charged 13. 2 dollars for tax? That?s justinsane. 13 CAN for this is not worth it in my opinion. It is big enough and even though the meat was a bit dry the sauce wasgood enough to make it feel better. I would say pricey, greasy and good sauce (condensed whatever). Update: I am having so manyfarts after eating this? I really believe it is not so healthy at all? people near me complain about the smell of theflatulences. Read more

I had my Favorite places to get a doniar in NS, well I found the new favorite place. Toss up between number 1. Shawarma is the... best I've had on the east coast. Good Crew, good energy and funtastic atmosphere. Thanks for the feed. When I'm back in town,I'll be stopping in. Read more

Got one of Tony's famous donairs - excellent! It was my first time having donairs - one of the things to do in Halifax - and I'm... definitely ordering them again next time I've got the chance. Read more

If your ever craving chicken shawarma from a place that is ?famous? for their donairs, don?t. The chicken was bland and had no... seasoning, and same goes with everything on it. The sauce had little to no taste, and the same goes with their own donair sauce.Their donair egg rolls were okay, but the sauce again didn?t have much taste. Read more

Since 2018, I have been moving around various towns and cities, mostly military towns and cities, and at one point or another, I... have encountered the coveted donair. I?m using ?coveted? here very sparingly, a donair is usually what a discount shawarma shopwill sell you instead of an actual beef shawarma, so I?ve always thought of it as budget beef The distinguishing factor for adonair is almost always the sauce, the sweetness, tanginess varies. This donair, although a bit too sweet for my liking, wascomplimented by the tomatoes and onions, overall, it was very delicious and INCREDIBLY well priced. JAM PACKED. Would recommendtrying! Never had a good Bubba sub (donair sub w/garlic spread) in 15 years that I could find in the city that tastes just like a pizza... place in Cape Breton I used to eat at. Ordered one tonight to test it out and I wasn't disappointed at all. My first time eatingat Tony's and can see it becoming new favorite spot. Donair spice was just right, the amount of sauce and toppings was perfectand staff was great! Will definitely be back. Read more

This is NOT the Tony's I know. For over 30 years I have enjoyed their delicious donair and one-of-a-kind sweet sauce that makes... this place a go-to whenever I visit Halifax. I ordered a medium donair with extra tomatoes and extra sauce with no onions. Drovefrom downtown to Larry Uteck Drive to enjoy my food only to be disappointed with this; a dry and tasteless piece of heartbreak. Thanks for ruining my night and wasting my expensive gas!!! delicious food. we ordered a large tony's donair which was a mistake as it was sooo large. i don't know how they fit so much... meat on it. it is a tad spicy, probably from the onions. we also got the world famous pizza which is very yummy. they are alsovery generous on the meat on the pizza.
