Got takeout. My burger was too greasy and my fries were cold and inedible (I threw them out). Flavor was alright I guess, but... nothing that blew me away or that I couldn't find elsewhere. I was told this was the best kitchen in the city but I really don'tthink so. I haven't tried the cider. Read more

Another excellent experience at Unchained. The winter ciders are very enjoyable. With the Frost Bite being my recommendation.... It's a semi sweet, blend of jonagold, Spy & Mac, matured with cinnamon, ginger & nutmeg. The 'big cheesy brisket burger w cirotaleggio, apple bacon chow & frites,is the best burger in Halifax. So juicy a packed full of flavour. The fries are cooked toperfection and the house mayo dipp is a excellent way to enjoy them. Always make sure to come in for a drink and a bite to eatwhenever I visit Halifax. Read more
