Ok this is serious I couldn't leave Miami without trying Dr Limon. This time I asked for Dr Limon Causas Octopus....(grilled... octopus) .... in few words..... it melts in your mouth....and is seasoned to perfection! With the perfect side of potatoes thatwere both crunchy and soft! It was so so good.... 100% recommend at the point we asked for a second one. We also had the specialceviche with 4 different types... again so good, each ceviche was different and absolutely divine! First time going to Dr. Limón. We went with arroz chaufa de pollo, jalea, ceviche with leche de tigre, and two pisco drinks.... The quality was great portions were enough for two people to share. Our favorites were the chaufa and ceviche. We feel like thejalea could of use a bit of more seasoning but it was ok. For dessert we went with cake and helado de Lucuma which wasdelicious. The service was also great, very attentive. The prices were a bit high compared to other Peruvian restaurants insouth Florida but overall a great experience. Enjoy! Read more

Edit July 2022: I'm taking a star off my previous rating because the food has been very inconsistent in the past year. My family... and I used to love this place, but now every time that I go I don't know if I'm going to get good ceviche or good jalea. Thepreparation doesn't seem to be the same every time. Yesterday I ordered an arroz con mariscos and it was really off. This usedto be one of the better Dr. Limon locations, but I think all the cooks should redo a training. Food was great, prices are a bit steep ($21 for a 4 tostones dish stings) but it seems to be everyone in the area is at that... range. A lot more to try on the menu, and I enjoyed everything we got. Read more

I was happily surprised by this restaurant ???????? Ever since you step inside the restaurant, the most friendlier person will... welcome you and make you feel right at home. Luis was my waiter, a great young person. Super attentive and friendly. Herecommended few of the dishes and drinks and they’re were so so good. We ordered: Peruvian egg rolls - a new (at least forme) version which has Ají de gallina as a filling… each bite was full of flavor. Remedio casero - aka ceviche. They usecorvina which already makes it better. It’s seasoned just the right way, not salty or sour, just perfect. Took my back to myold days in Ancón, Lima. Jalea Del Mar - it comes with tartar sauce and salsa criolla. Great duo combined with Ceviche???? Lastly, we had Passion Fruit creme brûlée and Helado de Lucuma, both great choices to end your meal experience. Fordrinks - first of all, they have a great presentation. You’ll want to take a picture and send to social media rightaway. Marajito - really good. Refreshening drink, it has a bit of a kick combined with a great flavor.
