My wife and I moved back to the area after spending several years traveling for work. We settled in Hamburg and were happy to... see a local Federal Meats store in the Village Square Plaza. We headed there before Xmas and purchased a tenderloin which theguys were happy to butcher into steaks, a roast and burgers. As in the past the quality, service and selection is still thebest we have ever encountered. The steaks were a huge hit at Xmas dinner and we will be going back to fill the freezer!!! Read more
Federal Meats worked with us on a custom order of shish kekebabs and side salads for our September 25th Bills-themed tailgate... wedding. Both Tom and Pat from Federal Meats were very helpful in helping me plan the menu, budgeting and planning the amountsof food needed. They packed up the large order and loaded my car with the food that we cooked on-site at our reception. It wasdelicious! I highly recommend the Chicken Terryaiki shish kebabs. They also did a custom order of steak and potato kebabs, YUM! As a little sweet joke, they threw in some rice for our ceremony, 'Just in case' ???? Growing up in North Tonawanda, my parents always bought our meats at Federal, so it made sense I would do the same. My husband... and I lived in Kenmore and shopped at the Delaware store, where Larry would give us excellent service, Last year we moved toOrchard Park and didn't know which Federal to go to. We tried the one in West Seneca and the one on Kensington and were veryunhappy with the service and selection compared to the Kenmore location. Then we found the Hamburg store! Patrick introducedhimself to us and gave us the exceptional service we were used to in Kenmore. He would give us recommendations, cooking tips,samples to try, etc. The store is clean, the selection is 2nd to none, and the quality cannot be beat. My brother came onetime with us when he was visiting from Connecticut and he was so impressed he said if he lived here he would be in the storeevery week. He liked the way they dress with the white shirts and tie (very professional), loved the way everyone was sofriendly and helpful, and loved the selection of meats and food. I hear horror stories about how our meats are raised in theUSA and then shipped to China to be slaughtered and packaged and then shipped back to the USA. WHY??? I know that when I buymy meat from Federal it is fresh and never shipped out of the country and shipped back. I will not buy my meat anywhere else. Thank you Federal, Pat and Larry.
