Our family stopped here for lunch on a special trip to Maine. As with another review, the hot dogs were good. The majority of... the staff was nice. However, one female employee got upset at us when we asked for the bottled Diet Coke drink that we hadordered as opposed to the fountain drink that had been provided. She was speaking under her breath about us?. for simplyrequesting what we had ordered. We were excited to eat at a restaurant that had been open since 1955! Overall, it is a greatexperience. Friends invited me to go with them for hotdogs. I'm not a big hotdog fan in general, but the dog with grilled onions won't... disappoint! I don't know how they did it but the onions were perfection. Definitely give it a try! Read more
Been going to this local family owned grill since I was a kid and I'm now a senior citizen. Delicious same as it always was.... Love the addition of "frings" a few years ago...a combo of fries and onion rings. Kelly's also delicious ice cream attached toGlenwood. Go! Read more
Very disappointed today in normally one of our favorite restaurants for a Lobster Roll! But for almost 25 dollars it?s no... longer! We thought we were lucky today because we were the only ones ordering at the time (Usually very crowded) As theyprepared our Lobster Roll the staff behind the counter were deep in a conversation as we waited and waited . Finally a counterperson asked about our order. Shortly thereafter it was handed to her. Then to us. We left to eat in the car. What adisappointment. The once buttery roll was dry. The amount of lobster also was nowhere near what it used to be and it also lackedtaste and butter. Unfortunately at this price we won?t make a second attempt to get a better Lobster roll at Glenwood. We went here for the first time yesterday. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering our questions. My husband just... kept saying ?That is the best burger I?ve had in a long time? and my children devoured the platter of French fries. This willdefinitely be a place we continue to visit! Read more
