Came in for a quick breakfast with my daughter. She had pancakes, I had the Irish eggs Benedict. So good as was the coffee!!!
If I could give it 0 stars I would. 43 dollars later and a trash full of food. There was not one thing that tasted good. I... don?t know how they have the reviews they have. They let you seat yourself, thought that was fine. The cornbeef hash was not very good. My wife had a turkey burger she said it... was very good. I liked our waitress she was nice. I'll probably give them another chance ordering something different. Itappears they cater to a more mature crowd and they are regulars. I feel like it is kind of charming in that way. This is my favorite diner in Hamden. The staff there is always great. There is never really a wait for a table. The drink of... your choice will shortly follow you being seated. Ordered food shortly thereafter, and cooked to perfection. Waitresses aresuper cool and have great personalities. You can sit back and watch them interact with customers on a personal level. We did not have to wait for a table which was wonderful because we had a time crunch. This was my first time here. The people... that we with me have been here many times and recommended it. We we were seated I notice how nice and clean the dining areawas. Oh and the wonderful display of desserts. YUM!!! The menu is extensive and they serve breakfast all day. We placed ourorder and our food came out hot and quick. It was awesome. The food was very good. The soup was a bit more salty than Iusually like but it was good. I will come again. ???? Read more
Terrible. Philly steak came with bread not toasted with chunks of cold cheese. Sent back to have to be fixed . Came back - ... warmer but still gross. You could see the old bread stuck in the cheese from where they scraped the old sandwich off. Didn'teat it, told the waitress it was disgusting. Charged me for it anyway. To quote Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack,, "this mealwas low grade dog food". Read more
