I brought my daughter here for dinner and some bonding time it was good. Food was good. My daughters a picky eater and wanted... half my food for later lol so that's saying something. Only thing I wasn't too happy about was the server we had. At first shewas friendly. After taking the order her whole mood shifted. I try to make small talk and very blank emotionless responses. Shewas more concerned with the bigger party there. Sure I get it bigger partner bigger tip but went from. A 13 to 5 dollar tip realfast and she's honestly lucky I gave that. I asked for a extra togo box and the eye roll just pushed it. So me and my daughterhad a great time and what made up for the whole experience was the other server who was working come by and started taking theplates away and helped me the stuff to go which I told her she didn't have too but it was very nice of her. I asked her name andit's killing me I can't remember it because I wanted her to get the credit she deserves. Within the 2 minutes she helped me Iwas disappointed I didn't get her as a server from the beginning.but she made the entire night. And I wouldn't be coming back ifshe didn't change my opinion. Now if she texts me I'll be back like every other day ????.like seriously though. The food wasntbad. I asked how the meatloaf was and automatically our server shook her head and said bland nothing special basic. I mean ifthat's her opinion I understand but why lose the company you work for by downplaying the items on their menu. So ended up withthe chicken and broccoli instead in garlic sauce. It was just like the one I would get from old job and I couldn't find thatanywhere else like the way they made it so I was very surprised and happy. I brought a ham and egg on a hard roll to go and Icame back and my cat ate the entire sandwich. So me, my kid, and cat all seemed to enjoy the food so I'd recommend it. Brought a strawberry shortcake, it was so disgusting. The cake was hard and tasted like it was sitting for days. The cake looked... so old. How can you sell something like that? Read more
Great morning to stop in for a favorable meal..walked in for the 1st time an love the service very polite and welcoming also... very fast service. Delicious ???? stack of Fresh Strawberry pancakes just the way I like it light soft Fluffy that soak up thegood maple syrup with the strawberry juice for each tasteful bite piece by piece yummy in the tummy!!! 5/30/20 DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Recently went to pick up a cheese burger deluxe meal. Once I got home my burger had a... weird smell so I opened it and saw that they have been using VERY OLD products! The lettuce was in such bad condition and so wasthe tomato and the pickles. The bun was STALE and the patty had NO FLAVOR! I didn't even get the coleslaw that came with thedeluxe meal. This review is long overdue. Three Brothers Diner has been a favorite restaurant of mine for years. Whether delivered, called in... to be picked up, or eaten in their spacious, always clean diner, I've never had a bad experience. I've had breakfast, fulldinners, wraps, and my favorite which is their cheeseburgers, which are the best in Hamden and a bargain compared to a burgerand fries at McDonald's, and absolutely no comparison to anyone else (they toast the roll!!!) Pair the amazing food withspectacular service, every experience I've had with them has been positive. I have to say that I was blown away by my mealthere with my mom today. It's Thanksgiving, we love their burgers, so this is our holiday tradition. We walked in and the waiterimmediately seated us, and asked where my uncle was. The first words after greeting us were "where's your brother?" to my mom.He remembers our visit several months ago when my uncle came for a visit and we had breakfast before we took him home. We made abig deal during that initial visit because it was my mom's first time actually eating there, despite eating their food manytimes. But how many hundreds of customers has he seen in the last four or so months since our first visit? Every person theremakes you feel like family.
