Mark G was a wonderful server. He acknowledged our celebration. He offered food and drink suggestions. We tried the Canal... Cosmopolitan, Stuffed Salmon, Allegiance Pork chop. The Salmon was stuffed perfectly with crab, bacon, delicious creamy brieflavors and served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The pork chop was cooked perfectly, easy to cut and the maple sauce wasdelectable. I will be making any future polenta into a crispy cake . It was a perfect pairing with the apple cider greens. I visited twice, neither time disappointed! Food was great, atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, and service was great, the food... was fresh and prepared to order. I especially loved the brunch menu and wish they had it on more than just Sundays. Even thedrinks were amazing! This is definitely one of my new favorites! Read more
We needed a place to host a pre-graduation dinner and Tano Bristro was definitely the right spot for us. As a foodie, I don't... mind driving for good food but during graduation weekend in Oxford, we really didn't have a choice. The team really did a greatjob accommodating our large party. This place is only a couple of years old and is on the 1st floor of a building across from apark and hotel. The area appears to be growing with new units popping up. There's street parking around the restaurant and wedidn't have a problem finding a spot. They have a nice bar area and offer both outside and indoor seating. We have beencoming to Oxford for a number of years now. Tano Bistro is one of the better places we have found in the area. Their lunchand dinner are both very good. They have a good variety on the menu and are willing to make modifications (as needed). If youare in the area and want to have a good meal, I would certainly encourage you to make a reservation and check out Tano Bistro. Read more
I hate writing negative things about local restaurants but this place isn't that great. Our food was just okay & definitely not... worth the cost. My bottled Much Ultra was skunked but the draft my husband had was good. On a good note, our service was great!Even though we were the only ones sitting outside, Peyton made sure we had everything we needed, at all times. The outsideseating/atmosphere was nice too. My wife and I enjoy visiting this place about once a month. The food is always amazing and the service exceptional. We often try... new entrees each time and none of them disappoint. The mixed cocktails are also very tasty. We will be back soon. Definitelylooking forward to it! Read more
What a great brunch experience! We consider ourselves lucky to have been recommended this place by our hotel. Apparently, they... had only recently began serving brunch again. We started with the ricotta and honey, my husband had the biscuits and gravy, Ihad the panzenella and we shared some chocolate chip pancakes. Everything was amazing!!!
