The server we got super sweet and had a bright smile. We had some crispy french fries, a plate of good fettuccine Alfredo,... poutine and a really good pizza. It felt comfortable and welcoming. The food felt like comfort food to us. We couldn't finishour pizza and they were happy to get us a to go box. I would go again soon! Read more

This place has gone DOWNHILL and is nothing like the original location in NY state. The wings were dry and small for $19/lb. We... ordered a large pizza cooked 'well done'. The pizza was literally inedible... we sent it back, TWICE! I have never done this inmy entire life. There is no chance this pizza was cooked in the wood oven. The servers were trying, but seemed overwhelmed. ThePatio was closed on a 24c beautiful sunny day. Whoever is running this place needs to be fired. Save your $ and go somewhereelse. Brutal. Read more
I gave it ONE star because the fries were good. I paid $30. For a single order of wings, fries and cold slaw. When I got home... and opened my box it had 8 wings, fries and 2 pieces of carrots and 2 pieces of celery in a plastic bag. The wings were hard anddry with very little sauce to help with the chewing, obviously cooked long before it was ordered. That was the first and thelast time I buy food there. Read more
Anchor bar is oddly hit or miss. Sometimes the food is amazing and worth the money, other times it's just average tasting and... nothing special. Had the white pizza and first time it was amazing, 2nd time it was a completely different story and lackedflavour. The food is definitely on the higher end of pricing. Service is as hit or miss as the food, sometimes it's great andother times I've sat at the bar and been ignored or had an empty drink for over 30 minutes. Great F%*^#ing place. Great service and great food (the original Buffalo Wings) and a great selection of beer. I have been going... there for nine years. I host a party there every year with over fifty people. The team at the Anchor Bar is easy to work with,always pleasant and the food is always delicious. Tried the salt and pepper (dry) wings this year for the first time, they weredelicious. Highly recommend. Read more
Went there for a beer and snacks on Saturday afternoon. The service was amazing, besides being kind, the waitress was happy and... fun, she let us in a good mood, just like her. The menu has few options of main dishes, but looks like they making a good pizza.We choose a chicken poutine and cheese sticks. The chicken poutine was too spicy. Great place for afternoon beers when pints are on sale or not. Don't want a beer? Solid cocktails and can also verify fantastic... non-alcoholic cocktails being served timely and delicious. I choose not to eat here based on the cost for Sysco or summitproducts based on the me pricing when you can opt for the food court or better food at Toby's. Great bartenders, great service.Food is overpriced and lacking significantly in my opinion of 25 years in food service. Cheers! Read more
