Great place for Shawarma. In my opinion the best in Hamilton. Got catering for my son's birthday, 3 trays of chicken and rice,... some falafel and two giant salads. Everyone loved it! Today I was craving shawarma but wanted to make sure it was low carb. I searched for placed around the area that served shawarma... salad and found this place. I was THOROUGHLY surprised at how delicious and filling my salad was. The portions were beyond whatI expected. My friend for the shawarma poutine and loved it so much. She really loved the garlic sauce that went with it I wasvery happy about the service. Everyone was so friendly and as we sat in to eat out meal, we couldn't help but be so surprisedthat the people who worked there were on a first name basis with the majority of their customers. It really shows how much theyvalue their customers. I look forward to going back and bringing others to this place. This was a rare gem that I recommendeveryone try. I?ve eaten at a lot of Shawarma places and this one definitely takes the cake. In terms of the Shawarma pizza, few places these... days are properly applying the white/hot sauce. Rather than slab it on they perfectly circle it to the centre, a dying art.Generous portion of chicken. Thin/dense crust with a nice bite to it. Onions are not raw, properly using yellow onions asopposed to raw red onions. Also, they don?t skimp on the chicken when it comes to their chicken rice combo. You?ll be hardpressed to find a better shawarma place in Hamilton that takes this much pride in their food. City Shawarma has earned a longtime customer today. Read more
I believe it counts as one of the best shawarma places in Ontario. The portions are big and you feel so full you can't even move... after your meal. We tried their Shawarma Poutine and Gyro Salad. They both tasted great and with great portions. Theirspecialty is their Shawarma Pizza which tastes amazing and it is worth the drive. Read more
Wow!! Just tried this for the first time today and had to write this review right away... so good!! The chicken was seasoned... perfectly , we got the rice with the onions and they were absolutely fantastic! I asked for some of the pickled turnips on topof the shawarma and the chef added them for me! This made me give the 5 star review because the turnips are my favorite. Eathere!! Read more
