I used to give this place a 5 star rating because of their portion size But after tonight I will not be coming back I called To... make an order for me and my partner TWO PLATED MEALS!!!! I said to the man 2 orders of chicken fried rice 2 orders of Chickenballs and one Spring roll PLATED!!! I then sent my partner in there to go and pick up the food because I have 2 children in theback and one I had to feed And not by a bottle My husband comes back and said the man said that I ordered 2 OF EVERYTHING IN AHUGE PORTION even after repeating the order back to me I still said yes PLATED.......NEVER AGAIN Read more

DO. NOT. EAT. HERE!!! Egg rolls under cooked AND I found a black feather in one. Fried rice wasn’t even fried, had zero... flavour. Sesame chicken we threw out because it tasted like a flavourless gelatinous mess. I called the restaurant to make acomplaint and the person I spoke to just said “oh I’m so sorry”….this food literally made me sick to my stomach. Doyourself a favour and save yourself the trouble. Loving the food here ! Chicken ball and chicken fried rice are awesome. It is appreciated that they uses chicken breast for the... chicken ball instead of chicken leg. Also the beef and mixed vegetable and chicken with mixed vegetables are highly recommended,which are both juicy and tasty. By the way, the hand made Spring roll here are the best I have ever tried. The Forbidden City, has new owner which I was unaware of. I made a pick-up order over the phone for sweet & sour sauce chicken... balls an four egg rolls total: $22 & change Reasonable The egg rolls were different and weren't for me, though I would stillrecommend them as they may just be the next best thing! Clean and quiet restaurant with great food. The young man serving was attentive and patient when ordering. They have cold canned... beverages (Coca Cola brands) and bottled water, I didn't personally check out the bar. The dinner package options are great ifyou like to load your own plate with the variety of food you get with it. Lots of appetizer options as well. This was my favorite Chinese food place I've never had an issue like this before and I've never been disrespected by them... before. I'm also a very generous tipper I'm disappointed by how they handled this issue. I ordered 6 spring rolls with vegetablemushroom chow mein total was 24.98 with tip paid online through their website, payment was withdrawn from my account but when Icalled to confirm my order as it was paid forbidden city restaurant said they didnt receive my order and said I had to contactthe company I paid through, i explained it was their website and she said that's not possible.
