Just left here. Spent $60 on 3 lrg fish and chips. Was served fish jerky and potato chips instead. I wish I didn't do take out... and actually had it there cause I would have returned it immediately. Just a wee bit peeved about it. But hey. Atleast I knowhutches van Wagner's isn't a failure. No more bay st hutches unless it's just for ice cream while at the park. Great place to grab a bite at your local grease spot. My hubby loves the fish and chips $17.90 for the larg 2 PC which can be 2... meals really. I had the poutine with taxes $27 for a shady spot on their nice benches. Too full but the ice cream selection ismouth watering.cadh only but they do have ATM inside. Read more
We've eaten at this location and the one in Burlington. A go-to for fantastic fish & chips. I'm disappointed that this location,... while allowing to order ahead, does not take credit card payments. Cash only. There is an ATM on site, however service feesapply. Reason for 3 star rating is on our last order, I made the mistake of getting a corned beef sandwich which cost about $8.It was horrible! Literally dried pieces of meat on even drier rye bread. Didn't even bother with mustard. It was barely edible.Shameful they would charge so much for something so atrocious. Went over to Hamilton for a day-trip and stop by Hutch's for a quick bite. We ordered a few things and were pleasantly surprised... by the portions. Good price and value for money for what we got. The Fish Tacos were great with the toppings, and the FishBurger was quite good. The batter-fried Mozzarella Sticks and Pickles were a nice accompaniment too. Read more
Enjoyable place for lunch or after visiting the harbour area. They've got some picnic tables set up in the shade outside and... it's clean and tidy. We didn't end up having space for ice cream but it looks like it would be worth trying. They open at noonon the day we went which was perfect for us. One of the best fish & chips I've ever had. This will now be a summer staple for my girlfriend & I. The large serving with 2... fish fillets has quite a large serving size. Very filling. Love the cash only operations, very old school ????????. The entirelocation is accessible by mobility devices. The outdoor seating is not accessible if you're a wheelchair user. Good and authentic but not amazing. The location, views and general atmosphere is great. However, the food could be a lot better... for the price. The fish and chips was really really oily, although the portion was good. Read more
