We went there with a party of 15, a few extra people showed up and they had no problem with accommodating for it. The garlic... bread with cheese was amazing and I would recommend going there just for that alone! Our server Bianca was extremely friendlyand organized. Everything was prepared correctly as requested. We did have an issue with trying to get our appetizer out beforeall the main courses which caused two of our party to not be eating their main course the same time as everyone else. The food has always been great, never had a bad meal from Jack Astor's. The greater and wait staff are always friendly and... polite I'm the dining room. On my most recent visit it seems the wait times are longer than normal, Friday around 5:30pm it'snot overly busy and we were seated right away but it took over 30 minutes just to get a server to come ask what we wanted fordrinks. We made sure to order food and drinks at the same time so we didn't have to wait again for the server.to come back. Foodcame out within about 15 minutes of ordering and the server was fantastic. It is likely just a short staffing issue but itseemed to slow initially waiting for the server when the dining room was less than half full. Read more

Place is nice, good music. There was nobody to greed us so we sat at the bar section. Our server Lucas was great, but... unfortunately food was not good. Over priced steak for what you get. Perfectly cooked steak but tasteless. Best part of theexperience was dessert. One thing that I like to point out is that we noticed there was a huge lack of staff team work. Ourserver was leaving so we paid the bill to make it easier for him, but since we became nobody’s table, the server helping thetables next to us didn’t even say hello or ask if we need it anything else or offer to clear our piling table. Great meal tonight. I had the Mushroom Truffle Cheeseburger and my boyfriend the Holy Smokes BBQ burger - both were excellent.... Truffle fries as a side and bruschetta as a starter we're also really good. They had a DJ and a raffle for Grey Cup ticketstonight - was a fun vibe. Had a good lunch/dinner today, our server was beyond caring and kept checking up on us and our food. She was quick to bring us... whatever we needed and was a pleasure to talk to. Food was a bit too salty which is odd since other jack astors I have visitedhave always nailed their French fries and nachos. Nachos were not all the way loaded with veggies as other location but it wasmediocre. A little irritated at the end since it says on Sunday online they open at 4Pm. We called and asked if they were openaround 3:30PM and were told yes you can come so we drove down and arrived at 345PM but doors were locked. Had to wait until 4PMto get inside but no biggie since they served us right away. Read more
