Meh. "Plain rice" is literally plain white rice. I was expecting seasoning/the yellow rice you get at most places. The potatoes... are huge boiled potatoes...again, not what I was expecting. Then they drown the chicken in sauce. I'm not super impressed andlikely won't be back. Also a very long wait for my food. The person behind me got served before I did (unsure why? I use to love classic poutine but they did not add garlic sauce in it and it was too dry & salty for me. If customer is paying... you atleast you should serve them properly. Read more
Got the Lazeez ?Special? chicken wrap and it was raw. Restaurant didn?t care when I called to inform them. Apparently it?s not... the first time they received this feedback. Very very concerning. If you want the special wrap you also get a side ofsalmonella. Won?t be coming back. Read more
Have become a semi-regular here and it never disappoints. The chicken / beef poutine and ?lazeez on the rocks? make for... incredible comfort food. I found it a bit pricey but the portions surely are generous. Was shocked they have only a 3.8 ratingat time of post, but a quick glance shows a lot of complaints are not related to the food quality. Will happily keep coming backhere, and will recommend it to friends. Read more
I used to love the food and service at this location but they've lost a customer for serving a chicken shawarma that was very... poorly wrapped and fell apart immediately in my hands when I got back in to eat it. The room temperature fries I got were notworth the combined total of $20 I wasted here today. I had to microwave them and add the contents from the wrap to them tosomewhat enjoy my order. Only two people working who didn't seem to care about taking my order and it was a ghost town when Iwent in....this is kind of unacceptable. The pop was the only good thing unfortunately. Hopefully something changes for thebusiness but I will go elsewhere now for allowing this to happen. Plenty of better options nearby. Read more
Whenever I want good quality and QUANTITY of meat, Lazeez has not yet disappointed me I always get their chicken half half or... on the rocks and more recently their chicken shawarma salad. ( I always go for spicy. So 6-8 lines of hot sauce. <3 ) Thechicken shawarma quantity is good. I hate it when restaurants skimp off on their chicken but I?m happy to report that Lazeezisn?t one of them. A waste of time & money. This place used to be good many years ago, but now it's so bad that even if you convince yourself to... eat it you'll end up in the hospital. The fries looked and tasted as if they were cooked last week and they put less than theminimum amount of chicken. The employee who prepared my dish, didn't put any sauce even though I asked for it, he just boxed itup and threw it in my face. I tried giving them another chance and it was even worse when ordered through Doordash. Definitelyavoid this place if you care about your health. Read more
This spot is my favourite place to get lunch off campus - chicken on the rocks is my go-to order here and I?m never... disappointed. In my experience, the family that runs this restaurant are always kind and friendly. I look forward to stoppingby again! Read more
