Best in town!! The portions are huge and for a good price as well. A large can easily feed two people. I got the jerk pork and... give it a 10/10. The wings are delicious as well. Best jerk chicken I have had in town hands down. If you are looking for a well priced filling meal this is where you need to be.... Snapper could have used a bit more seasoning, more gravy for the oxtail (I'll ask next time haha), curry goat tender flavourful and again bless those hands that jerk chicken is tha bomb ????! Thank goodness they are on the other side of town or this wouldbe a weekly regular! Called before closing #ImSorry! Was on a hike on the Bruce trail with the family. Saw this place pop up on the map. Worth the detour. Had fried chicken, jerk... chicken and a couple Patties. I tried the Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, Oxtail and Curry Chicken Roti. The potions are great and you can tell that the food is... cooked daily. The food is seasoned well and has a balance in flavours. The dinner comes with a side of cabbage that has theright crunch and has a bit of sweet and sour taste to it. It's enjoyable. I would shop there again. Read more
I had to give this place a try today. A hidden little gem right in this tiny little plaza. I picked up a lunch special portion... of the jerk chicken and was not expecting such a fair amount of food. I also decided to get a large portion of jerk pork toportion into lunch servings for the rest of the work week. PLENTY of food to portion for lunches for the next 3 days and stillleftovers for dinner tonight. I found the meat perfectly spiced and the rice was quite nice. The coleslaw is not a creamy kind,it is vinegar based. I wasn't a huge fan. The gentleman who served me was super friendly and kind. Makes you want to go backwhen the service is friendly and genuine. Will definitely recommend it to friends who work around the area especially teacherswho work nearby as I was able to get my food in a very reasonable amount of time which allows you to eat comfortably duringnutrition breaks. Their rice and beans are the right texture, lots of flavor with just enough sauce. Their coleslaw isn't the usual watery KFC... stuff, house made and delicious. The jerk chicken is outstanding. Highly recommended. Read more
Fantastic!!! ???? ???? I'm down here from Toronto and I was looking for a good Jamaican place. Finally found one. I ordered the... large oxtail off uber and let me tell you.. Excellent flavor.
