I really enjoyed this shawarma; this is saying something since I havent had a truly enjoyable shawarma in a long time. Good... quantity of food, not overly messy, flavours on point. I love pickled turnips and they were plentiful ???? with just the rightamount of hot sauce I was content. The reason I didnt give a 5 star was because I found some of the chicken to be a little dry.Also ordered chicken fingers which I would likely not get again - regardless, Ill be back! Read more

NS is located on upper ottawa b/w mohawkand limeridge. their menu is straightforward - meat offerings are chicken and gyros with rice or on a pita. no beef options. afew salads and a bit of canadian food. upon arrival, the store was clean and bright, nice presentation of LED tv's for themenu, and the 2 staff workers on hand were warm and welcoming. the store became busy after i arrived, yet the workers did a goodjob of keeping it moving, getting orders punched in and filled out. i picked up a large chicken and rice, and a chickenshawarma pita. all-in was $27.95. do understand that NS has different sized servings for many of their items, to appeal todifferent needs and budgets. the prices that NS charges are very commensurate with the portion servings, they do give you a lotof food relative to what you are paying. imo the best bang-for-the-buck item is the chicken shawarma pita. the largechicken/rice: -had a bit of a greasy aftertaste but i would buy it again. -chicken provided was a good portion relative to therice portion. -large size gets you a huge amount; the food is jam-packed in the container. this can easily be split into 2servings and each split serve would leave you full, if not satisfied. -be advised that toppings (vegetables) are extra charge of95c. -comes with a large naan bread to ensure there is no doubt you won't be starving after finishing this rice dinner. -ricewas fresh and of proper texture. the chicken pita: -was very good. the vegetables tasted as if they just came from the garden.very fresh, and full of flavor. -good amount of chicken provided. -the garlic sauce is fine, not the best but not the worsteither. Excellent generous quantity of chicken ordered large chicken shawarma salad and was not disappointed with the sauce size and... chicken quantity. They did miss the seasoned onions so one star less for missing their own order std instructions. I usuallylove their chicken rice items with the seasoned onions. Great ! Read more
We ordered the dinner for 3 combo and it's more like dinner for 5. It is such a great deal and the portions are huge. They pack... the containers and load you up with sauce. I didn't have to ask for anything extra. One container is a shawarma poutine, theother is the shawarma rice and the third is the salad. All dishes were full of flavor and the meat was tender and tasty. Servicewas fast and friendly. Great job!!! I'll be back very soon! Read more
Please Don?t give me a burned dried out fries just because it?s almost closing time. Don?t get frustrated if I don?t know what... to get and asking you questions. I?m sorry if you feel the need to just get things done instead of enjoying all the wonderfulpossibilities operating your own business.
