Ordered special dinner for 5, didn't buzz the code, had a missed call so returned to have them say oh, driver downstairs. ... Went downstairs waited 20 min. He says order is 72 dollars when the menu says 37.50 .. didn't purchase because they triedto give me different order. Highly recommend you don't go here. Read more
SERIOUSLY GROSS - FOOD POISONING My wife and I wanted to try a different Chinese place than our usual to we decided to give... Shanghai a try. We ordered sweet & sour chicken balls, jar doo chicken wings, spring rolls, and Singapore noodles. At firsteverything seemed fine. Food was hot when it arrived an hour later but the timing was no big deal. Everything LOOKED fine. Butwhen we tried the chicken balls it had almost a compost type taste. Like the ingredients they used were old and rotten. Thespring rolls had the exact IDENTICAL taste. Compost. That?s the only way we can describe it. The Singapore noodles were hot butthe shrimp was cold as if they were just pulled out of the fridge and thrown into the noodles. Super gross. The wings werefine. All in all, don?t try this place. Thank you Shanghai Chinese Food again, again and again times over. I have been going here for years. Owner's are wonderful and... great food to match! A warm greeting and smiles everytime. Absolutely fantastic food every time. Always hot, fresh, delicious,full of flavour and large portions. A must have! Everything from a last minute dinner, to a full planned out meal. Had 3 combo plates, rating all a 0/5. Wheres the authentic chinese taste Shanghai Chinese Food owners??? It was horribly bland... and scarce for the price. I would NOT recommend this place!!! Dry garlic ribs extremely dried up, rice was bland, broccoli waswarm but almost raw hardly cooked. Breaded shrimp was oily and bland and came with no sweet and sour sauce, sweet and sour sauceitself was not tasty, sweet and sour ribs were tough and oily and over battered. Any time we want Chinese food, this is where we order from. The food is consistently good and for a reasonable price.
