I had two good recent experiences here. When my vegetarian high school friend visited me from Montréal near the end of July,... our orders were perfectly substituted with beans or extra veggies in lieu of their usual ground beef. We had so much fun withour refillable fountain pop & sharing dozens of stories. She had two veggie Gordita Crunches, Fries Supreme with extra veg[instead of beef] & Dr. Pepper. I had a refried bean Crunchwrap & bean subbed Nachos Supreme & Baja Blast Mountain Dew. Iordered UberEats [2022. Thu. Aug. 4th] & it was the 2 Chalupas set [#8 on their menu, I think]. I ordered 1 beef & 1 [refried]bean Chalupa. The Fries Supreme was amazing & so was the can of Rockstar Punched. The only hangup I had was the salsas mostlybeing mild when I asked for 2 of each kind. I have been coming to Taco Bell for many, many years because it is a safe and inviting take-out spot since I cannot eat dairy. I... would usually order the beef/bean burrito/taco done al fresco. When I went yesterday, I ordered 4 tacos and 2 burritos (for twopeople) done al fresco and nobody had any idea what that meant and they absolutely would not sub out all of the dairy items onthe burritos and tacos for some lettuce and tomato. They said they would have to charge me .50 PER topping PER burrito/taco aka1$ for a smidgen of lettuce and tomato. I am extremely disappointed as anyone in their right mind could tell that the moneysaved from not having all of the dairy products far outweighs a little bit of lettuce and tomato. You are putting a very hightax on people who require dietary accommodations. No thank you. Taco bell has long been touted in dairy free (and vegan!)communities because of its delicious and flexible menu. I am sad to see that the conversation will be changing with these newpolicies. Taco Bell, I want to love you, I want us to be together forever, but you continue to give me soooooo many sauce packets when I... only order 1 taco. I have to put them in the garbage now because I have hundreds. It's bad for the environment and I can't bewith someone who makes me do bad things like that. I was there to pick up a small order of two bean burritos and a regular drink. Came to the drive thru window and the worker says... two beef burritos, I politely said no I had ordered two bean. Waited and they gave me the correct order. I drove home and openedthe bag and realized they just gave me one bean burrito instead of two and charged me for two. They have not once but multipletimes messed up my orders. Very disappointing. Read more
