Excellent place! Right next to Westdale Theatre as well. Great for any time of day or night. Huge food menu with anything for... anyone, including vegan and vegetarian options, and the ability to adjust and adapt any meal. Always delicious and the serviceis so friendly. The drink options are excellent with a huge selection of martinis, blended drinks, sangrias, wines, and beerswith a local craft or two always on hand. Also full espresso/coffee menu. Bartenders are always willing to whip somethingdifferent up for you as well. OH AND DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE CAKES! Somewhere around 15-20 rotating a cakes available by theslice, including gluten free AND vegan options! This place is solid for date night, groups, dessert and coffee, etc.. Read more
The other night my wife and I tried out the Bean Bar in Westdale and wow!! We were simply blow away, the atmosphere was relaxing... and the food was delicious but the real gem was the service! The manager Dianna, I've never seen someone work so hard she seemedto be everywhere at once and was so nice and patiently answered all of my wife's questions about her dietary concerns, whateverthey are paying her its not enough!! Always came here when around the university. Was in town yesterday nd came back for another visit and it's still a satisfying... time. They also have a great hot sandwich named "buffalo chicken vs pulled pork". If you can manage to get your mouth aroundthis mammoth of a sandwich, you'll enjoy every bite! Read more
