Wife and I decided to try out The Brown Barrel finally. The atmosphere was okay, felt like a semi-quiet sports bar. There... ended up being 3 waitresses waiting on us throughout the night. They were out of the mix for our first drink choices, so we hadto settle for something else. We placed our order for the spinach and artichoke dip, which although it took quite some time toget to us, was pretty good. Our main meals on the other hand, were brought out shortly after our appetizer. The veggies wereundercooked and hard to eat. The schnitzel was very salty, to the point I swear I heard my cardiologist yelling at me. Thetartar sauce, my wife said, was worse than store bought tartar sauce. Comfy and clean spot with great service. The pizza is made with fresh dough but is pretty average and the sauce is a little... bland. The wings are delicious but the sauces are also lacking flavour. I'll have to try the burger next time. Read more

Ordered from here last night for dinner! Got a 2 piece Haddock & Chips! The Fish batter was very crispy, and delicious, the fish... was tender.
