This was one of the most wonderful dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Even though I had never had Nigerian food... before, I was overwhelmed with the feeling of home that only food cooked with love can provide. The jollof rice with chicken wasone of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life. It was perfectly spicy with the right hint of sweetness. We also triedpounded yams and soup of the day which was less spicy but equally as delicious. The owners were lovely and made us feel sowelcomed. I got a too good to go dish labelled as a meal that was $6.99. I got a single chicken thigh and a cup of rice. How is that... valued at $23 regularly? My first time being disappointed by a too good to go order, especially one on the higher price range. Iwill not order from them again. Read more
Visited their booth at Festival of Friends. It was a wait but so worth it. We got the jollof, chicken and puff puff. So much... flavour! Portions were great, my partner and I split the dishes. Will definitely order again. Thanks! Read more
They were here in London, Ontario for Sunfest over the weekend. They're some of the nicest people I've met. The city of Hamilton... is very lucky to have this resturant. If I make my way to Hamilton, I'll have to come down to your restaurant. I just wish wehad something like this here in London. If and when I come The Hammer, it will be worth the visit. Read more
I went for the goat pepper soup after smelling it on a delivery. It has a bite, but it's spicy & flavourful, not hot. A little... pricey, but sourcing fresh food items is too. Large portion. Absolutely delicious. Read more
