I've been here before but it was a very long time ago! Renald and I were very happy that West Town Bar & Grill was not only open... but still serving their full menu really late at night. We had been out on the town since about 6:00 p.m. and by the time wewere heading home at around midnight we found ourselves very hungry! ???? The food was delicious. I loved this place's ambiance & food. So nice, But didn't find the gestures appropriate when the waitress literally told that... you were like more guys yet paid less in tip ! Giving no tip is normal. Giving tip is sharing happiness extraordinary, butunfortunately we have created a hype of passing the tip on so regular basis that people are expecting it insanely withoutnoticing the regular nice behavior. If you feel less paid then ask your manager to pay more or find yourself another loving workthat will fulfill your earning. Otherwise do not judge the love from customers. I've worked in Tim's for a year for $14/hourrate, received tips in cents someday or a dollar or two, yet never had a thought of it. Why? Because its not a party place ?Didn't we run constantly? Good place, If only they could serve milk shakes and other pancake condiments
I went there to have a late lunch/early dinner on Tuesday 4pm. The patio atmosphere is very good, the menu has good options.... Service was very good. We ask for crab cake, Jambalaya, beef strogonoff and a sandwich, they were not bad, but could tastebetter, the strogonoff and the sandwich were savorless. Read more
Great service, Shawna was awesome. Food was very good. I wanted a turkey burger which most burger joints don't offer. This was... was delicious! My husband ordered tge herk chicken and believe it or not, he couldn't finish it but enjoyed it. We also orderedonions rings, yummy. Will definitely go here again. Only thing is on a Saturday night it would be nice to have liveentertainment however, just getting back to business after covid, it might take some time but its a good idea. Nice little place for quick lunch. The food is decent nothing special. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly.
Dollar for dollar this is a deserved 5 star establishment. Started with the spicy cabbage and sausage soup. Well executed. For... my main I had the 1 piece fish and chips; a generous piece of fish I must say. If fish was frozen and supplied by a foodservices company (e.g. Sysco) I really couldn't tell. Also the tartar sauce came in one of those individual foil topped "jamstyle" packages, which is a bit of a tell. Nevertheless, it was an absolutely fine meal at this price point. Excellent coleslawBTW. Reasonable craft beer selection; highly recommend the Grenville Island English Pale Ale. ???? GF had the Rack of Lambspecial which she thoroughly enjoyed. Again tremendous value at the price point. "Waiter 16 Jenna" was top notch and added tothe overall positive dining experience. Most definitely will return when I'm back in Hamilton. Read more
Stopped in for drinks with some old high school friends and found this a very friendly, and cozy spot. The selection of beer is... good, but not overly heavy in local craft beers. The food was plentiful and good, although the kitchen seemed backed up a bit.The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would return. Read more
