Great little place???? I did not expect to get the sandwich that I got in a small place like this in small town Texas. You won't... go hungry, that's for sure. I got the Reuben on rye. Best pepper beef on sour dough I've ever had! I highly recommend this place which now has seating since they expanded.
A woman at a local gas bar recommended Wenzel Lonestar Meat co as an option for lunch because we could park our trailer behind... the nearby CEFCO. And it was Greater Tater day on Wednesday's! This dish is a massive, perfectly baked potato covered withbutter, brisket, BBQ sauce, sour cream, cheese and jalapeno, which we ordered on the side. Two of us shared one serving whichwas plenty. Half orders are also available as are meat sandwiches. We ordered at the front and it was brought to us in the tablesection. The blend of flavours was delicious. I really liked the sauce on the meat. Wenzel's is a great example of why it paysto ask for a good local place when you are traveling. Read more

We had lunch and ordered Chicken Pot Pie, Coleslaw side, Corned Beef Sandwich, and Ham & Cheese Sandwich. When I first bit into... the chicken pot pie crust, I was not impressed. But, once I tasted the inside of the pie, it was quite good. The corned beefsandwich tasted really good when we added the coleslaw, which contains vinegar. The cashier was very friendly. Read more

An excellent lunch choice when we passed through Hamilton. Seems like a place normal locals would frequent. Good location,... ambiance, friendly customer service, and added bonus of buying some processed meats for the road. The lunch menu was sandwiches,griddled with melted cheese. Only giving 4 stars because I think the options could include some more of their in-house meatsinstead of deli options. Highly recommend if you?re passing through this town! Read more
