Definitely worth the hype! Great pizza. Perfect crust...just enough crunch and doughiness. Sauce was great. Service is top... notch! Greeted with smiles from beginning to end. Was checked to make sure I was okay and asked "hows the pizza"....which isalways encouraging to see/hear...especially in the service industry. Prices are reasonable...paid $5.50 for a corner slice andcan of soda. Their current menu prices are very reasonable, given the current prices/cost of food in general. I was very happyto see every single employee hustling...making food, taking orders, other preparation. Small but adequate parking lot sharedwith a few other stores. I hope to return when I am in the area again to try some other slices/items. Read more
I just left Marcello's pizza grill and only have amazing things to say. 1. The pizza is absolutely amazing. That Corleone style... pizza is worth every bit of the hype. I am living in mercer county for ~6 years and this is EASILY in my top 3 pies. And I eat ALOT of pizza! 2. This is about the service that I received. I called in the order and picked the pie up. I had my 2 year olddaughter with me and as most kids do, she fell asleep on the short ride to the pizzeria. I called when I got there and asked ifsomeone could walk the pizza out to the car so I could let my daughter to continue to nap. The response that I received was "ofcourse" and a smiling young man walked out with my pizza. It was ~$21 for the pie. So I gave him $30 and told him to keep thechange for the nice gesture. He asked multiple times "are you sure you don't want change?". Hes a better man than me becausewhen I worked for tips, a big tip like that was always appreciated but never turned down. Small things like this mean the worldto a parent. It gives you that feeling of family and home. To me, those feelings are what makes a pizzeria stand out. Tons ofplaces have good pizza, but a few don't even thank you for buying pizza from them. Sometimes that is the deciding factor whendeciding where to order from. So hats off to this establishment for treating their customers well, providing a GREAT productfor a reasonable price and going above and beyond for me and my daughter! I tried this location a day after randomly see it on the barstool stuff. It got an 8.1 i think? Super random. Not gonna lie - it... was fantastic. I live in new york. Been here more than a decade. Im never ever in the trenton area. What the hell? This pizzawas so good, even by nyc standards. To be clear - i didnt try the other slices. I got the corleone. I waited for it. I ate ithot, at the shop. I suspect this type of pizza would not travel well, and sitting inside a box for 5-10 minutes would definitelymatter. THIS. PIZZA. Is everything I want in a pizza and more. Light, airy, crunchy, tasty, AMAZING. Naturally we had to come here... because of Tik Tok. And it?s pizza. The guy in the video is genuinely sweet and so is Marcello! Wish it was closer to NC becausewe would love to have this great pizza every day! I had the chicken bacon ranch pizza, best ever. Sal is so nice and friendly!! So glad I came here, because their Corleone style pizza is amazing! if you're not getting a... Corleone slice or pie, you're missing out because that's their specialty. People are friendly, establishment is clean, and thepizza was made quickly and perfectly cooked. It was refreshing to try this new style of pizza, and I'll definitely be back :) Igot a large Margherita Corleone pie and my friend and I were so hungry that we shared the entire thing. The cheese and sauce areclearly quality, and it has that fresh, right out of the oven taste to it. *Wish I took a picture of the whole pie beforedemolishing it ;), it was a huge size (imagine double the size of the picture I posted) and tasted amazing. First time customer 15 minutes ago and I stopped between bites (sort of) to write this. Your sicilian pizza (with onions &... pepperoni) is by far the best example of what a Sicilian pie should aspire to be. By far the best example I have ever tasted inmy life. I loved that you kept it thin and let the toppings balance the crust. The flavors were remarkable and the pepperoniwas on point! Cooked to perfection as well where the corners and onions got a bit toasty and crisp but no bite was ever dry. Hold it vertical...nothing slides off. Edge to edge toppings and cheese...this pizza is a masterpiece. You guys got ALL thelittle things right. Read more
This is the best pizza i have ever had in my entire life. I've lived in NJ my whole life, never had a pizza like this before.... Wow it is absolutely fantastic. It's a 50 minute drive from my house and that is no problem for me. I will be going back soon. Marcello is a very kind and wonderful person. Thank you for the experience! Read more
