The rib tips are NOT done..a squirt of bbq sauce..please DON'T say because it's a holiday..I'm Very very disappointed..and this... isn't the first time your service have FAILED. I used to order from here all the time when I lived in Merrillville 7yrs ago. I would come back every now and then since moving... out of state. The sauce on those ribs that I ordered yesterday were disgusting. It cant even be called bbq sauce nor mildsauce. It was awful and disappointing to my taste buds. My woman turned me on to this place 5 years ago and it is a must stop when we pass by this area to see her sons. It has been a... carry out place but regardless, so worth the purchase. I really don't know how to start explaining this delight. From the sightthru the taste, it can not be duplicated by other places. "Incredible" says it all. If u don't want your fries covered withsauce, just tell them 'fries covered on the bottom' some meals don't need to look picture perfect...some just explode in yourmouth as intended. Read more
A great little gem tucked on a side street in Hessville. I saw their ad on Facebook and headed there for dinner. Honestly, the... rib tips rock ! I got them dry and added my sauce individually so I could enjoy the smoky taste of tender, juicy pork...it comeswith fries and a slice of bread for only eight bucks. I had Mac and cheese as a side, and it was baked perfectly...I can't waitto go back and try the ribs...a must stop if you love smokehouse food.. Read more
I have lived in the Hammond/Gary area for almost 9 years and never had Big Daddy's BBQ. I was thrilled to learn of a Hammond... location and had to try it out!! It was AMAZING!!! I had one of the most undelightful experiences last week. I stopped and purchased a tip and link combo. I was encouraged to wait... due to pork links requiring 30 minutes more prep time. Upon my arrival to my home, my one piece of link was flaccid and wayundercooked. This is a major health hazard. I decided to never ever return due to the seriousness and safety hazard. Driving toLeon's bbq on Torrence will cost more but it will eliminate the food borne pathogens/ illnesses. Read more
