I ordered Sunday dinner, I got Mississippi pot roast over rice, collard greens, Mac & cheese and corn bread. I paid about $25..... I don't think it's worth the price, I know soul food is a bit pricey but if it was good food it wouldn't be a problem. The Mac &cheese was good but the pot roast was wayyyy to salty I just picked the meat and veggies out and made my own rice to try andlevel out the saltiness. I came hear because a friend posted their food and I was not disappointed. The baked macaroni, the greens, the shrimp, the... chicken, the pot roast, the rice...it was all so good. I cannot stress enough that the food is out of this world and theportions for value is definitely reasonable. Golden gloves has my business and they should have everyone else?s. My husband and I planned a trip to Hammond, Indiana to see what the hype was about at Golden Gloves Cuisine. We were not... disappointed. We order the Hibachi with lobster and man it was worth the trip. The owner was very nice and even sent us with aword of hope and prosperity! We really enjoyed the food. My husband does not normally eat lobster, but ate the fried lobsterthat came in the meal. Thanks for the great food and experience overall. We will be back !!! Read more
