Haven't been here in ages. Tried it a few weeks ago. I understand prices and stuff going up. So when the young lady said they no... longer give out fries cause of costs. I'm like that's ok. I understand. What I didn't expect is that the roast beef is more thenwhat I remembered $10. On top of that half the size. Go to Buona. Read more

You're paying Cadillac prices for a VW Beatle experience. You get a 6" beef sandwich average in taste for $10. For about $3 less... you can get a far better 6" beef sandwitch at Pop's in Dyer, Indiana. Be good to your wallet and good to your taste buds andavoid Zel's. Read more

I've been eating at Zel's for over 20 years now. The menu is not overly complicated and quite simple( ONE of the things I love... about this place). The roast beef is awesome, onion rings delicious and their signature Super Zel burger is mouth wateringlytasty !!!! GO there for your next lunch, you won't be disappointed!!!!! Read more

First time eating here... Really love this place. I got a number one. Big roast beef with fries and a drink. I got mine with... Pickles, peppers and mozzarella cheese. Seriously a good sandwich. It's simple, but really hits the spot... the only word ofcaution I would give is the au jus sauce... this is basically the pan drippings from cooking the beef. That's not a bad thing asit was a great sauce to dip my sandwich in. Not your standard reduction though. Read more
