This is an awesome Japanese cuisine restaurant in the center of Hammond, La. I didn't actually pay for dinner here because my... boyfriend was doing some work on the restaurant for the owner, and they provided us with complimentary dinner, which was a verynice treat. Based on the menu, we wouldn't have spent a lot of money. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions arelarge. All of the employees are super friendly and helpful. They had a small line as soon as they opened at 5pm in a Saturdayafternoon, and the place stayed full until shortly before closing. This is a must-visit place if you are ever in the Hammondarea!! Has been one of my favorite restaurants back when I lived in Louisiana so I just had to return when I came to visit a few days... ago! I absolutely loved the staff. My food was perfect and the hibachi chef made sure we had a fun time! I was a bitdisappointed that they didn?t have my favorite sushi roll, the Shaggy dog roll, but the server allowed me to explain what was init and they recreated for me. 100/10! Will be back soon! Not expensive! Very nice place that I've been to several times over the years. We had a nice lunch there.
We ate here with a group of six for lunch and it was fantastic. We did not do hibachi but several people we were with had done... that before and said it was very good. Service was fast and friendly. MANY special rolls to select from - everything weordered tasted great. Read more

Had our company Christmas party there last night. They gave us the upstairs floor. The food was fantastic!! They made... sure our employees were well fed with a variety of delicious food. The bartender kept busy with our orders and kept us happy I eat there every now and then but will go more often now. Thanks for the great time Kirin and we will look at bookingagain next year.
