In town for the SELA Football playoff game and looking for a place to get burgers. This restaurant is super charming with a... great aesthetic. I love Our Mom?s if you go in the restaurant, they have such creative and delicious items in the menu However, the packaging for... delivery orders has some kinks for sure. We ordered through door dash so it takes a minute for them to pick it up and bring itto us. (Just more convenient with Kids who are loud and do terrible in a restaurant) and my jalapeño ranch burger had like onetiny dab of ranch and our debris fries were stuck together in one piece. Probably would do better if the toppings wereseparately packaged. It was still okay but I would definitely recommend the dining in experience over delivery . Read more

Been hearing about this place for a little over a year. This was supposed to be a great place to grab a burger. Very clean old... time feel to the place. I think all the workers are women (I did not confirm this but only ppl in uniform I saw were women).Staff is friendly enough Im here to confirm this is probably the best burger joint in Louisiana! I got a burger a side and abeer for just under 20$ so the value is unbelievable as well. The bartender told me that even if the burger u want isn't on themenu they prob can make it for u. I personally had the Mac n cheese burger w/ fires subbed for Mac n chz. 100% plan on comingback I just don't go to Hammond often. * there's not alot of room to park in front of the restaurant so u may need to walk abit if u can't parallel park in front of it. Neat little venue in downtown Hammond. Got the boudin balls and fried pickles as appetizers (not pictured) and was recommended... the PB&J bacon burger. It was a great mixture of flavors with the salty and sweetness mixing well together. Our server wasknowledgeable and attentive despite admitting she?d had a bad day. First time visiting Our Mom's was about 3 weeks ago and the food was delicious. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was... great. I don't remember jalapeños being on there because it wasn't spicy and I also don't remember there being a cheese bun,but I don't think I would've known the difference. The chicken was fairly big, like hanging off the bun big, so it filled me up.Fries were good as well. I forgot the name of the drink I ordered, but that too hit the spot. The atmosphere was nice and thevibe was pretty chill. We sat upstairs. You can also go sit on the balcony if you wish. We went around the evening time, so itwasn't busy. I would recommend. Read more

I will definitely go back. The issues that removed one star from the review are easily attributable to the staff training a... trainee, during Christmas week, on a busy lunch hour. That caveat out of the way, here's the particulars: I attempted to orderthe root beer, out. Coffee: they hadn't made a pot that morning. Asked for tea, they answered they had sweetened or unsweetenedtea. Oddly, when I asked if black or green tea they said they only had unsweetened or sweetened...odd statement but oh well.Maybe they meant they only had cold tea. The sweet tea was refreshing and decent. Okay speed for food prep: we ordered at 11:55:we received a shared Crab and Corn soup at 11:59. Received burgers and entree at 12:24, after one wrong table attempteddelivery, and a half a table wrong delivery. (They tried to give us someone else's food). For a Chicken Cordon Bleu with friesand an Onion Jam burger with fries, that is a little slower than usual but the quality and good price more than made up forit. Good alternative rock music, just on the edge of too loud for normal conversation but good for upbeat energy. They actuallycleaned/sanitized the table between diners, a first that I've noticed. Most places I've seen 'clean' but don't reallysanitize. Now for the reason in the loss of a star: I advised of a food allergy and halfway through I found a small piece ofthat food type in my burger. Likely stuck on someone's glove during prep but it is a good thing I only have an ingestion allergyeasily resolved with mild medication. Normally that kind of issue would land a restaurant at no more than 3 stars in my book,but the quality of food, excellent customer service even if the food takes a bit to come out on a busy day, and the stellarpricing edge it up to four stars. When we go back, if they get the allergy issue wrong again, then I'll revisit my star rankingfor them. Read more
