Stopped in looking for a quick meal and found a little haven of goodness. Lots of choice for adults and for kids, mostly pretty... healthy, and some live music while we ate. The deli/bakery also seems really good, though we didn't sample much from there.Recommended. Read more

Visiting and touring Halifax area from Ontario. Stopped here for a bite to eat. Really good food! Came out hot and tasted home... made, not the typical chain restaurant. Lots of parking. Also very accommodating. I currently use a cane to walk so they seatedus at ground level so I didn't have to go upstairs to the main eating area. P.S. the pressed juice is delicious! Read more

We lived in Halifax for years and this place was one of our favs, we recently went when visiting Halifax this summer and was... really disappointed. The food was sub-par but the prices are crazy for a brunch. The coffee is still amazing but that's aboutit. I don't think we will be back, very disappointing. Read more

A gem that's easy to pass by on Hammonds Plains Road, Edible Matters delivers next-level desserts, homemade and take-home meals,... breads, veggies and a lovely retail section perfect for a thoughtful gift. On top of that, their dining room menu neverdisappoints and the patio is pure perfection in the summer. Read more

Met friends here for brunch as one friend has a gluten allergy and this is one restaurant she knows she can depend on to eat GF... without question. We all enjoyed our meals - definitely worth the trip over from Dartmouth! Read more

I went there with my Canadian friend. She had recommended this restaurant , especially fish cakes. The waitress was misordered... of my plate, not 2 fish cakes only 1 fish cake. A friend of mine was very sorry to take me the restaurant and she was quite surethat served beans were from cans. today I was told that the owner of the restaurant was recently changed. Bread and saltedcaramel coffee are quite good and worth to recommendation but staffs are awful not only professional but unkind. There are a lotof good tasty restaurant and bakery in Halifax. I don't feel to go this restaurant to meet unkind staffs at all. Read more
