Went for dinner 9-10-22 which was a beautiful evening. We had never been here before and we made our reservations on google... which they did, but we were not aware that the open deck needed special request since it seemed by the website that the deck wasthe main area of seating. It is actually just a fraction of the total seating and we were seated inside to my dismay. That Icannot blame the restaurant. Much of the food is comfort food with the exception of some better end meals, but the price isdefinitely a reflection of demand. In any other setting, the food would be more modestly priced. We paid about $50/person for1 appetizer, 2 meals, and 3 glasses of wine. I was actually shocked at the price of local wines by the glass. Prices for wineare NOT listed on the menu, and $10/glass is steep considering the wineries are nearly next door and not that famous. A seconddislike was that the wait staff did not come by to check if everything was alright after serving, and we were done with our mealbefore she asked whether we wanted another glass of wine. Stopped for a cocktail before boating then after a great day boating had a very good dinner (and another cocktail). Not sure if... it was the food, drink or atmosphere and view but we really enjoyed our stop at the Switz. Read more
The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! We ate outside on the deck and the view was... beautiful! Will definitely make a return to this eatery! Read more
$19 for mushy spaghetti with microwaved meatballs. I get that the main offerings on the menu are seafood but if you can't make a... decent spaghetti and meatball entree for the non seafood eaters, don't even offer it let alone charge so much for it! My friendordered a salmon dish and enjoyed it but my spaghetti was mushy and the meatballs were half rock hard and the other half justgross. They were clearly over microwaved. See photo below of the meatball cut in half. You can see in the photo how bad it was.I did let the waiter know and he apologized but that was it. The server was very nice and did a great job. He was just young andprobably not trained on how to handle a food complaint. I will probably return but not for food. The atmosphere was great andthe staff very friendly. Read more
Lake setting, it can get cold if your sitting outside on the deck, have a sweater or light jacket handy, but if you enjoy... sunset, bring a date or family and friends. Meals are big portions and have a bar upstairs, it can get loud but hip restaurantand big menu listing, if your hungry have an empty stomach, i had a bowl of clam chowder with corn, very good size bowl. Theonly negative that i witness is those darn bugs flying annoying! Read more
Always a good time here. Great views, great atmosphere, great service and crowd, great food. You can't go wrong, check it out!
Staffs are friendly, Nice environment it is on lake shore. Food is delicious. It is a must go if you are here.
