Stopped by on our way home from a canoe trip . Called on the way to make sure they were dog friendly, and the gentleman on the... phone quickly said yes and they have outdoor seating. Perfect for us which happened to be very nicely shaded for the pups. Wearrived at the very clean establishment and the man at the counter confirmed we made good choices as they were some of the mostpopular items . Shrimp tacos, chicken tails and the boondock club were all great! The man behind the counter even walked ourfood out to us when it was finished bc we had our pups with us and couldn?t hang inside . Nice little place. We stopped in here due to a detour after an accident and we were looking for a place to eat. There are a... couple of picnic tables outside and plenty of seating inside. The staff is very friendly. I ordered the shrimp platter and itwas great, the shrimp were generally sized, great breading and cooked perfect. The fries were amazing, hot and crispy. Thewife ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It was huge and everything fresh. We found out its made by the wife and you couldtell. We ate outside since we had our dogs with us and it was nice and not noisy even though it's right by the main road. The food was great, service great, nice atmosphere, drinks cold and prices reasonable. We will definitely be stopping again. Read more

At first I was skeptical, thinking pizza in the boondocks at a place called the Boondocks!? Well tomy surprise the pizza was fantastic. To add to that the staff was courteous and quick to help me. My food was served fast, hotand delicious!! The atmosphere is very cozy and extremely clean. We stopped in to have dinner after hiking the Batona Trail. We are so glad we did. Wonderful host and wonderful food! ... Homemade soup was awesome!
