First time visiting Angler's. Very impressed! We shared the haddock dinner and an order of fried zucchini. Plenty of food for... two!! For sides, we had fries and pickled beets. Both were excellent, especially the beets! Service was great and Plenty ofparking. Read more
The food and service have always been good here. It can be a bit pricey (paid $30 for a lobster roll and fries last night and... our total bill for 2 people was over $60), but it's based on market value. Definitely one of the better places to get qualityseafood in the area. Read more
This is the best restaurant around. The food is amazing and I don't eat seafood at all except for here. The owners are such... great people and support the community. The staff is friendly. Beer is cheap! I could go on forever about all the great thingsabout this place, but I will end with the prices which are amazing. Service was outstanding. Super friendly. Draft beer for 99 cents!? That?s crazy and we loved it! However, the reason we came... here, was for the seafood. And that? was probably the worst seafood I?ve encountered. It was so bland. We basically had theirtartar sauce with a side of seafood to try to negate the blandness. I had the lobster roll, if you could call it that. It wasoverly mayoed and atop a pile of iceberg lettuce. It was surprisingly? tasteless. I subbed my side for clam chowder, which wassupposed to be at a reduced price of $4.99. Instead, I got charged full price of $6.99 and didn?t receive a side for my lobsterroll. So, I paid $29 for just a lobster roll that was terrible. The clam chowder was decent. My fiancé had the haddock andscallops, which were also tasteless. Basically, stop here for some friendly service, a beer and maybe a cup of chowder andnothing more. Read more
Omg BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!! The freshest tastiest seafood. I dont ever GUSH over a review but trust me...flaky, nicely seasoned... and abundantly portioned. Lots of food, reviewing strictly on take out. Ordered the stuffed, sautéed lobster and JR Angler platter. Do not order the... sautéed lobster, there?s no meat compared to the others!!!!!!!! Nice service, food was pretty good. Read more
Grilled salmon is served well done (overcooked) and this is mentioned on the menu, so remember to ask for it medium rare or... medium if you don't want it dry and overcooked. The New England clam chowder is rich and creamy white, not like some of the clamchowders on the coast which are lower in fat and more opaque in color. Read more
