The location and ambiance are great. Staff is nice. The food was very disappointing. Very small portions, especially for the... price. I had a salad with "blackened" chicken and the chicken was barely seasoned, visibly and in taste, and had a faint tasteof the seafood I assume was cooked on the grill prior. Left feeling hungry despite ordering an entree and splitting anappetizer. We will not return nor recommend. Read more

Just had the most excellent dinner in a long time at Kimberly’s. Our group of 4 enjoyed every bite of our meals. The Filet... Mignon was the best my husband has ever had he said. Do not skip dessert here. They all sound so delicious, it’s hard tochoose just one. The servers are very nice and also friendly. The bonfire going during our our outdoor dinner was quitepleasant. They even have blankets for you if you feel chilly when the sun sets. Read more

Great food and service, nice view of the lake from the outside deck. Recommended by a friend as my family and I just happened to... be visiting Maine for the first time. If in the area again would definitely go there. Read more

I’ve tried this restaurant twice and both times were not good. I paid $30 for a bowl of lobster stew that was cold. $40 for... fried scallops and clams that only came with 3 scallops. The entrees we’ve tried have been tiny and not seasoned. Location isgreat and staff is nice. But if you want a good meal that’s affordable and actually filling do not waste your time here. Read more

I had the lobster and the peanut butter chocolate cake for dessert. On the surface these seem like standard items, but the... quality and effort Kimberly's team puts in to the meal makes it special. The lobster was nice and fresh, the butter perfect andthe mashed potatoes creamy and well seasoned. The veggies were well cooked and fresh. The cake was a coup d'état andabsolutely a must have for anyone who loves peanut butter. The banana gelato with peanut swirl that accompanied it was theperfect companion for the meal. And the best part? Gluten free for us celiacs and intolerant souls! My wife adored the doublechocolate brownie that she got as dessert, also gluten free and also fantastic. Mother in law and aunt in law also adored theirmeals and the fresh and flavourful strawberry rhubarb pies they ordered. Great service, excellent food. Will definitely comeback! Read more

Friends asked us to join them for dinner at Kimberly's last night. It couldn't have been a more gorgeous summer evening in... Maine, with the sun setting and a bit lf a chill in the air, so they had reserved us a table outside on the deck. I have to saythat the view is probably the biggest draw of this dining establishment. While the service was friendly and prompt, they wereout of a few menu items - lobster and clans I believe. I know that they're not to blame entirely for that.. but just wanted tomention in case you have your heart set on a specific dish. Never hurts to call ahead and ask. I had the bacon wrapped scallopswith maple syrup. They were cooked to perfection and ac nice appetizer sized plate. My husband and friend opted for theoysters, which they said were delicious. Our other friend had the calamari which he was very pleased with. It was a large platenicely breaded and fried. The bread basket appeared full of warm rolls. There is a nice craft cocktail menu. I choose theblueberry mojito which was okay. A bit strong and the smashed berries at the bottom made it hard to drink. The guys had beers. For dinner I had the lobster scallop risotto. It was good. Not great. Almost needed something else for a bit of excitement. But it was a nice sized portion.my husband had the chicken special - a panko pistachio breaded cutlet that he said was dry. However he enjoyed the kettle chips on the side. Our friends husband ordered the fried dinner which was a selection of friedseafood. It was a huge amount and he said it was delicious. Our fourth at the table had the blackened haddock. She liked it,but everyone agreed the side of veggies was underseasoned. We were full so skipped dessert, although the options looked great. Blueberry pie, carrot cake etc. The sun was setting and we had front row seats waterside. There's a nice fire pit area withcorn hole set up. I would go back, but I think opt for one of the more traditional Maine seafood dishes Read more

We called from our hotel room and got a reservation about 15 min from when I called. The food was outstanding. This is not a... fast food place and you should be sure to take your wallet, but the food was exceptionally good and lobster ???? is always apricey dish in ME in the summer. I even managed to get a hot chocolate... something I thought would be a "sorry, no..." Thelittle gift corner with dishes and towels for sale shows that whoever's doing the ordering has a keen eye. Bravo on the entireestablishment. Claire was an outstanding server! Read more
