Went here for our Anniversary as we heard good things about La Cucina. Atmosphere was very nice, not overly loud. Food was very... good. Got Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Francaise. Fairly large portions, each took some home. Service was ok, not bad butnot the best we've had recently. Definitely would go back again. Read more
This place is a rare gem. Great staff and it's clean and inviting. The menu offers a well rounded array of choices that will... leave no one wanting. I had the crazy Alfredo and it was delicious. My friend had the grilled pork chops with some brusselsprouts and another vegetable and she said it was very good. If you are looking for a great dining experience give La Cucina diHampden a try. Been here once or twice prior. To be honest I’ve never really been blown away by the food or felt the need to return. At times... I feel like I could just go to Texas Roadhouse and get a better meal. ??????? Read more
Harry is the best chef there..we got chicken parm, hanger steak with fries and mac and cheese and a bacon cheeseburger with... fries. It all was top knotch especially the steak and side of mac and cheese. Our waiters name is Alex. He did a wonderful job.Very attentive and sweet. The chicken ceasar was miniscule and the hostess was a schrew. Portions have shrunk. Go to DeNardo's! Never again.
My wife and I were looking forward to a good meal on a hot day with a new baby at home and ordered takeout. The wedge salads... were $11 a piece, and you can see from the images that we paid $22 for a head of iceberg lettuce that didn't even have the coreremoved, and a couple crumbs of bacon. We understand many restaurants are short staffed right now, but asking customers to payfor this is unacceptable for any reason. Read more
Having had many family celebrations and delightful meals at Hampden House over the years, I must comment on our Thanksgiving... take-out dinner. Excellent doesn't even describe it! Everything tasted delicious, and the house smelled like and brought backmemories of turkey day at Mom's. That is a real compliment, as she was an outstanding cook. Each item was perfect. I have spreadthe word, and friends are hopeful, as am I, that La Cucina will be doing something similar for upcoming holidays. Oh, forgot tomention, since we picked up day before Thanksgiving, we asked for take-out meal for that night...short ribs w/polenta...amazing.Staff so pleasant and accommodating.
