If you happen to be in the Hampshire Township and looking for great food, clean, & wonderful atmosphere to eat in....come to... Copper Barrel. Service is excellent from the time I walk in to the time I walk out. Wife and I ordered the wings, ribeye steak,and ribs. All are great. Order everything else also on the menu with confidence. I did have a jalapeno cream soup. If you happento be there on the day they make that soup. GET IT if you like spicy. It's phenomenal. Our waitress, Fallon, is perfect. Greatwith us throughout. The service from the bar to the restaurant waitress was excellent. They made you feel important and always made sure you were... taken care of. The owner walking around talking to customers is a plus and made my wife and I feel like we were part of thefamily. I highly recommend here for a drink or for excellent food. This place is a hidden gem in the small town of Hampshire. We decided to visit this establishment after I recently seen a... friend's Facebook post about them catering a party. I am so glad we found this place because we will be going back in the nearfuture. Everything we tried was fantastic. The only small complaint was for my sweet potato fries. They were not warm but Idecided not to complain since everything else was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was very clean. Brisket, smoked chicken and pulled pork tasted great and their bbq sauce is tasty. We tried the following: corn/queso dip,brisket sliders, smoked chicken bacon cheese sandwich, chicken tenders, Mac and cheese with pulled pork and some Guinness beers. Read more
Wow. Date night with the wife was amazing. Everything was good. The meats are amazing. Artichoke dip appetizer was one of the... best I've had in recent memory. Clam chowder was excellent. Had the combo platter. Brisket and chicken were absolutelyoutstanding. Cornbread is legit too. The layout of the restaurant is an interesting choice, especially the bar, but the decorwas spot on. I have to say this place is always busy downtown and now I know why. The cornbread alone had me still talking the next morning.... I?m not a ribs guy, but this place has some awesome ribs. The only other place I had delicious ribs was in Texas. I had the halfslab of ribs and half chicken combo. The meat came off the bones clean. The cream of chicken soup was amazing. The fact this GEMis 3mins away from my house driving and I haven?t tried it in the year I lived in Hampshire shocks me. I would recommend thisplace to anyone who is driving by or lives near.
