I went to get something to eat at the location in Lovejoy Ga and I couldn?t believe that I spent 45.00 for a mini cup size of... collard greens and Mac and cheese that was in a blue cheese container the ones u put sauce in and 1 leg quarter 15.00 then thechicken had blood in it he didn?t let it cook on the grill long. And I was very disappointed by the time I got home I will nevergo back feel like I got robbed and lucky I broke open the leg quarter my child would have been sick. Long standing customer, had great experiences until recently. I received spoiled crawfish. Called for the owner with no... response for 5 days. When I did call again and finally spoke to the owner she requested i bring her back the spoiled food. Itried rationalizing with her that maybe had she called back when I originally called and gave that directive I would be able to.Who holds spoiled crawfish for 5 days? She was rude and nasty. And advised if I give a bad review so what it won't be the firstor the last. The worse customer service ever..do not support this business until they treat us better. Read more
My family member recommended this establishment for our families pot luck, on Friday 7/1 I ordered 5lbs crayfish, they were... water logged and not seasoned. My family member who suggested I use this place called and told the person about the order, theperson which whom she spoke to was very apologetic and promised to redo the order, especially because my cousin was a longstanding customer. A date was established. The day we were going to pick up the new order another person picked up. "TheOwner" and stated there was nothing they could do. I have been eating here for the past 6 months and the food is always hot and delicious! Fish is fried to perfection and the... signature sauce it comes with is bomb. Shrimp are steamed and tasty. I have literally had everything on the menu! I also lovethat this is a black owned family business. Customer service is always a priority here. Read more
The worst food in all of Lovejoy and Hampton. I ordered at 3:02 pm and didn?t get my food ( 2 piece Catfish with corn and fried... okra) until 4:20 pm. And when I received my food the order was incorrect. I waited an hour for the wrong side item (I was givenstale fries instead of friend okra). When I brought it to the young man?s attention (Romeo) he was apologetic and offered thecook the okra?adding more time to my 1 hour wait time. When it seemed like it would have been easier to just discount the mealthe price of the side. The shrimp was so over battered that you couldn?t even taste the meat, just breading. The fries were sostale that they seem like they were a week old. The catfish was soo small that I thought it was a two piece chicken nugget fromWendy?s instead. This place is truly the worst I?ve tasted in Lovejoy so far and I?ve been to plenty of the locally ownedrestaurants since I?m head of the HOA community and use locally owned restaurants to cater our events (meetings, picnics, etc).This place certainly went off our list. UPDATE- 10-3-21...OK gave this place another try today....horrible experience. I ordered an 20 piece shrimp boil. The shrimp... was over cooked. The seasoning is absolutely disgusting, it taste like water and hot sauce mixture.....i called to inform themthat I was disappointed once again and was told to bring the food back and they'll remake it. I didn't even bother to waste mygas because whoever made my food, CLEARLY has no business cooking. I can not get over how nasty the food was and to see theowner commenting on other reviews and not taking constructive criticism makes it even worse. Do not waste your time with thisplace its definitely disappointing Terrible Service. The owners attitude is absolutely unacceptable I ordered a crab boil andthe crab legs were burnt and some leg missing, food was salty, seasoning is disgusting. I called to complain about it and theowner told me I had to drive back to her with my broken crablegs in order to be refunded. Definitely not worth the money. Really enjoyed the food at Savanah Seafood! We got fried tilapia and whiting, really good and the seasoning was really tasteful!... Also got the shrimp gumbo, really enjoyed the flavors. AND THE WINGS!! Huge, flavorful, and tasty wings. Now the fries wereseasoned well, but I think crinkle fries would compliment better vs. Shoestring fries, just my personal opinion. On the 25th of Sept. My sister and I decoded to try this horrible excuse if a restaurant. We both ordered a Catfish plate with... okra. The Catfish was a filet which was cut in half to resemble 2 pcs.of fish and the okra was slimy and fermented tasting. Itactually clung to the roof of our mouths and was very hard to wash away with the poor excuse of peach lemonade which was neitherpeach nor lemonade and a small bottle costs 1.79! I also ordered a half of blue crab boil for my Daughter. IT swam in a thinsauce which looked like an orange,pinkish conflagration of what was at the bottom of the pot in which it was cooked. In the bagwas a boiled pc of fish which was stomach turning in itself..imagine a white pc of unknown boiled fish in a crab boil!! I havehad MANY crab boils and never seen boiled fish in neither of them!! The blue crab and 3 shrimps looked dirty and well passedtheir time of freshness.... well passed. My Daughter took a timid bite of a shrimp and immediately declared it tasted liketoilet water!! We all 3 threw all 3 plates into the outside trash receptacle because it was too stinking to leave inside thetrash bin!! Slimy, fermented okra, rotten fish that was split in half to resemble 2 pcs.of fish. Juice that wasn't anywhere nearpeach nor lemonade and tasted like swamp water.....wow.....in summation I would NOT recommend this restaurant to a stray dog letalone friend or foe!!! We are truly thankful that we did not end up with food poisoning!!! Why this farce of a restaurant iseven open is a bewilderment to me!!!!! Read more
