Legit everyday AND special treat coffee shop Flamingos Coffee Bar is unforgettable. And this is coming from someone who could... care less about coffee shops. Breaky total: $44 plus tip (note this price includes a coveted Instagram Coffee Flight for $23 -totally worth it by the way . A large normal hot coffee is only $3.05) Open: Year Round Seating: Indoor and Outdoor Parking:On-street. Pro tip, don't waste time doing laps around the strip looking for parking. Park at the meters by the beach closest toB street, pay the meter, and walk down B street. Order: Back To School Coffee Flight: Pumpkin Spice, Fruity Pebbles, CaramelApple Latte, and Maple Chai, 1 Angry Donut, 2 breakfast sandwiches. Pros: I thought it would be over priced and over-hyped, butI'm drinking my words. I honestly can't tell you which was the best flavor coffee, because they are all amazing. Coffee qualityis smooth and like they do jokingly imply, way better than Dunks for the same or less money too (minus the flight option ofcourse). I was not emotionally prepared for the Angry Donuts colab - do yourself a favor and grab a donut while here to avoid atrip to Newburyport for these legendary confections. Breakfast sandwiches were made with real eggs for the order ???? and onlocal famous 'Best bagels' chain. I did not expect to find a high quality AND budget friendly spot today, but that's exactlywhat they are. Already planning my return trip ???? Cons: There is no slow season for this place even once tourists are gone.Get here well before 9am to avoid a line to the street and missing the best donut choices on a Sunday. My favorite coffee shop in the seacoast area. So many fun lattes to choose from. All of their lattes are also oat milked based... without even asking which I love. Started going to this place back when they opened a little over a year ago. The only thing I?msad about is that now when I go it?s sooo busy, lines out the door. So happy they have become so successful, they deserve it.Furniture and decor inside the shop are super cute and fitting to the Flamingos name as well. I always go out of my way to comehere. First time visiting! I had the party bird breakfast sandwich which was delicious and had the right amount of pesto. To drink I... had the spring flight part 2 with a slight modification. Instead of neapolitan, I doubled down on strawberry and roses! Overallhappy with all the beverages, I think that the flavor was very subtle but could definitely be turned up a little bit more. Such a lovely place ! I went there during winter and I was so happy it was open. There's so much choice and the pastry are big... and yummy ! I'm not a coffer drinker but my hot chocolate was always tasty and warm. Thanks to the ladies running it ! It was ajoy coming here every morning. My sister was home for the holidays and I just had to bring her here with another friend. The flights are so clever and such a... good way for people to try a variety of the flavors this coffee bar has to offer. I tried a sugar cookie latte because I havean allergy to nuts and it was outstanding... Easily the best coffee I've ever had. The people working behind the counter wereso kind and friendly, and greeted us both upon arrival and departure. The seating was cute and comfortable. I've alreadyrecommended this little spot to other friends and I look forward to returning in the near future. Read more
I think my only complaint would be that there's TOO much to love about Flamingos! Their sign says it best, 'Don't run with... dunkins, fly with the flock!" and we couldn't agree more. If you want a $2 coffee, you'll get what you pay for with anyone else,but here, Mackenzie and her team really have it figured out something special, and even better, helping support a localbusinesses that is environmentally conscious and customer focused as they are. What a surprise to find this adorable little coffee bar a block from the beach! Went in for a breakfast sandwich but had to get... the cinnamon roll too because it looked delicious..and it was!
