We were greeted when we walked in & had the menu explained by a really nice lady. We got the seafood combo with crabby fries... and whiting platter with grits and hushpuppies. The cornmeal batter is everything and the huge pieces of whiting were on anotherlevel. The butter crunch cake and toffee cookies... delicious! The entire restaurant (especially the restrooms) was spotless andthe staff cleaned constantly. Great portion sizes and fair pricing as well. I?ve been here twice and on both occasions the service was beyond stellar. They were helpful, attentive, and made you feel like... family. The food is consistently delicious, very well prepared, and full of flavor. I highly recommend Got Fish for an awesomevibe and great food! Read more
Amazingly Delicious ???? Food!!! Love the music played in the restaurant, no explicit lyrics perfect environment for all... ages. Staff extremely friendly and very very attentive to all customers. 4 Stars instead of 5 because you have to be verycareful while eating the fish, there are lots of little bones. Unfortunately, you will have to navigate those little bones whileenjoying your delicious meal. Typically not what most of us plan on doing when eating a fish sandwich. Read more
Now don't get me wrong this is usually my 4-star place. But I have an issue when the price goes up and when the price goes up... and the quality goes down tonight I ordered my usual the fish and grits with waffle fries and Krabby Patty sauce first of allthe Krabby Patty sauce is curdled yes I tasted it first yes it's curdled second the Grits are cold I never complain about thisplace I love this place but I paid more for my food tonight to be dissatisfied Read more
My first time here, I got the fish platter and it was amazing! It came with 2 huge pieces of whiting, 2 hush puppies and waffle... fries and gotfish? Sauce. I was actually quite disappointed with the food from here. I was so caught off guard when I opened my plate and saw the tiny... portion sizes that I had to take a picture. This place is wayyyy overpriced. The mac?n cheese was like 4 spoonfuls and althoughcheesy, didn?t really taste like much else. The fries were fine, tasted like regular waffle fries. I got the salmon cakesandwich, and it was literally falling apart like it wasn?t seared on the outside well enough to keep the ?cake? form. I wannasay it tasted pretty good anyway, but there were so many pieces of shells in each bite that I hard time enjoying it. This was me and my daughters first time and everything from start to finish was AMAZING!!! The staff is so incredibly inviting... and warm. We were walked through the menu and ordered the seafood trio as recommended with an extra piece of fish since we weresharing. The portion is large so we really didn't need it but were more than happy to take left overs! The crabby sauce..... myGod. Just so good. You have to try it yourself!
