My old review is from some time ago. Sorry to have to update and give such a bad review. We came here for our 25th anniversary... sorry we did. We waited for 15 minutes for someone to come to our table. By then we knew what we wanted so she took our drinkorder and a appetizer. When she brought our drinks we ordered our food. 20 minutes later someone else brings our appetizer, itwas awful over cooked and so greasy we couldn't eat it. Still no server we had to have someone else take it away. Now we are at45 minutes since we placed our food. No salads or soup. No refills no server nothing. The worst thing was there was only 2 othertables that were also complaining about their service. The table behind us their server was wearing pajama bottoms. Had to get amanager at this point to get food. While all the staff was at the hostess desk playing on their phones. When we received oursalads the lettuce was awful it was warm and soggy like it had been sitting out for awhile. I asked for the food to please notbe sitting under a warmer. But obviously they left it sit while we had soup which was the only thing that was good. When thefood came out it was obvious it had been under the heat lamp for awhile the bake potatoe was so crunchy and the butter meltedall over the plate. Couldn't cut the filet had to saw with a knife. The shrimp was rubber it was awful. The manager took offthe appetizer and wanted to give us a free dessert. But by now we have been there for 2 1/2 hours. We wanted to leave so we letour daughter pick a dessert to take home and left after paying a 103.00 dollars for inedible food. Worst service ever and awfulfood and no care from anyone about it. We will not be back. I will leave my previous review so you can see I'm not just tryingto complain about nothing. Stopped in for a quick lunch while travelling and had some car issues. The manager (Matt) and server (Troy) ensured our lunch... was relaxing and delicious, kudos to their customer. As always the grilled shrimp was very tasty, and the strawberry kiwi drinksmooth and satisfying. Thanks for making our way out of VA a good time vs. the disappointing time it started as. Read more
Order out on valentine's day. First of all wanted to order the special but the appetizer that came with the meal was shrimp.... Being allergic to shell fish, I asked if they could substitute it and they would not. So I ordered something else instead andwhen I got home they forgot to give me my vegetables and forgot the sauce that went with my wife's chicken, plus the food lookedhorrible.The small container of dip ran out well before we were finished with the chips. The salad look so very sad, and therewasn't really much to my shriveled little sweet potato. I don't know if all outback's are like this but the one in Hampton ishorrible. Don't waste your time. Everything was ABSOLUTELY perfect today! Thank you China for excellent & attentive service! It was only your second day and your... service and efforts did not reflect ?only your second day?. You made certain that my food arrived hot and well presented. Thankyou to the kitchen staff who prepared my food. My ribs and asparagus were cooked to PERFECTION. I couldn?t decide what I wanted for lunch today. I passed by Outback and saw the sign that read ?now open at 11 am for lunch?. I... was sold! My lunch was so delicious and China has an amazing personality and was very attentive. Now to just stay awake for therest of the work day. I?ll definitely be back for lunch!! Read more
The steak I ordered was rare when I ordered medium. Not once was I asked if steak was all right, was asked if I wanted steak... sauce. Also, the spinach that comes out in a mini cast iron looking pan was cold. The ribs were tasty and service ok. Read more
Decided to head here after work. Couldn't decide where to go and since we both haven't been in a while. Of course we got the... blooming onion. Crispy and hot. The blooming chicken my guy got was very moist. I got the Queensland chicken and Shrimp pasta.Our waitress Nicole talked us into getting the boomerita. It's 4 small glasses of different flavored mini margaritas. I don'tdrink but I drank from each one and loved them all. Greeted with a smile, very friendly. Asked to wait one minute while the hostess wiped down the table. Sat down in a very nice... booth. Waited about 4 minutes for our waitress (Arnissia) to come to the table. She was very friendly. Assisted with our drinkquestions and helped us make a decision. 2 minutes later the drinks and warm bread with butter arrived. We gave our appetizerand entree order. 4 minutes later our blooming onion arrived - delicious! 8 minutes for soup and salad to arrive after theappetizer. Salad was crisp but had too much dressing. I would ask for the dressing on the side. I got soup but they forgot aspoon. I asked for one. Waited more than 4 minutes for the spoon. When I flagged my server down, she looked at it and said whydid they give me the soup in a to go cup..she took it and said she will return with a warm one and in a bowl. She remembered myspoon! She apologized for the mishap. My clam chowder was hot and delicious. 15 mins later main entrees arrived. The serveradvised us of which plates were hot. My boys had sirloin well done and medium rare and they were very pleased. Mom had theChicken, I had Salmon. Overall great service and empathy to the customer.
