Came in here for a light meal and was pleasantly surprised. If you?re looking for a high grade dining experience, this may not... be your spot but this place knows how to present and execute. It is not pretentious, but the fish is fresh and well prepared. Iwould recommend adding an order of maguro, yellow tail, or salmon nigiri to your order for dinner to taste how fresh the fishand how well prepared the rice is. Enjoy! ? Read more

I would rate zero stars if I could. There was a staple cooked inside of my sushi roll, and I contacted the restaurant about it... and they acted as if I was lying. They were completely insensitive and not helpful at all. I am a regular customer at severalYama Chen locations and this experience has ensured that I will no longer purchase anything from them in the future. Please becareful. I almost swallowed the staple. This lack of sensitivity and compassion for a situation that have 100% could have beenprevented and COULD have caused a serious health issue is ridiculous. It was our 1st time here, but this place was AWESOME. I love how they decorated, it was super cute. They gave us free edamame,... egg rolls, and peaches. I?m unsure if that?s what they normally do, but I?m into it. They give you chopsticks and a fork! Myhusband has been to Japan many times and can eat everything with chopsticks, but I still struggle with them like a child. We gotthe sushi combos (you pick 2 rolls, and it comes with a house salad for $20). I got the Volcano roll (deep fried), and Shrimptempura roll. My husband got the Iron man roll, and the Super duper roll. Everything was AMAZING!! The restaurant wasn?tcrowded, the bathroom was super clean, staff was friendly. I definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for good sushi.We will definitely be returning. (Update 10/03/2021) We ordered food to go today. It did take about 45 mins, but the food wasfreshly made and not cold. I love the Togo boxes the food comes in (definitely gonna keep and reuse) and they gave us a freeslice of cheesecake! Best sushi and spring rolls I ever had! The service and presentation were impeccable. I was so delighted when my Hawaii roll and... Spicy California roll were placed in front of me. The spring roll was beyond amazing. I may never be able to eat another fromanywhere else as it will pale in comparison. For a 19.95 a person roll special I got a beautiful green salad (spinach and topnotch lettuce) with scrumptious ginger dressing, spring roll, specialty roll and regular roll, and a delicious two bite creampuff at the end! It's a quiet and beautiful interior inside. The food was amazing and the service was good as well. The only disappointment was... the cheesecake which was still slightly frozen. I'd return again and again to dine in and can see myself doing take away fromthere as well. The combo of 2 rolls for $20 is a great deal and filling. The presentation is beautiful. Read more
