Have been there 3 times and each time was enjoyable. The food is very good. We had Chicken Marsala and Francese which was good.... The next time we had the Grandma's pizza with broccoli rabe and sausage which was excellent and the last time we tried thepastas one with clam sauce and the other with broccoli and sausage which also were very good. Tonight we decided to go to Salvatores for an early dinner. We sat at one of the tables with the wall bench seat. The table for... 2 is a nice sized table and comfortable. The ambiance of the restaurant is is comfortable with Italian bistro and a sense ofbeing in Italy is surely felt. Our waitress, Melissa was wonderful and did a great job handling our table. Also, our serverSam was really great. His excitement for the restaurant and the food they offer was getting our attention. He highlyrecommended the crazy Alfredo (penne, chicken, so untried tomatoes in a creamy Alfredo sauce) which was so delicious and packedsome heat! He also recommended the spaghetti with shrimp pesto which was truly amazing! The pesto was light but packed a niceblend of basil, garlic, oil and a touch of creaminess too! We also had (2 nights before came in for dessert) the cheesecakeand the tiramisu which were both amazing. We were glad to choose Salvatores for dinner and will be frequent patrons. Food was good but when the A/C isn't doing it's job and you're sweating profusely while eating, it takes a couple of stars off.... To make matters worse, the poorly trained staff pretends that there is no issue, so if you'd rather not sweat while you eat, goelsewhere. Update: The A/C in the bathroom was better than the dining room, so eat in there. Read more
Our annual visit to the Hamptons included this pleasant experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by lovely... Christina who sat us promptly. The pizzas were delicious and came out promptly. Next time, we will try the entrees. A must tryin Hampton Bays. Read more
Went for brunch and had the avocado toast which was really good. My friend had the eggs benedict and said hers was really good... too. Outdoor seating was really nice.. the chairs were very comfortable too (comfortable enough for us both to point it out!).We got donuts from the shop inside the restaurant afterwards. Great place for a grab. Prices are average for the area, service was good, as of mid July 2021 they are still observing Covid... restrictions and social distancing requirements, to the good and bad of it - if you like your space you definitely got it, butwe for example got seated (outside, according to our choosing) by what used to be a way in and out from the street to therestaurant and were annoyed by customers insisting on taking the short way out right through our table, instead of going throughthe parking lot (so just watch where you’re being seated). The inside of the restaurant was full of petitions. When you gothere - you should definitely try one of their pizzas. If not as your main then at least as a starter at the center of thetable. They are amazing! Note that out pizzas came out significantly later than the mains. Good cocktails, overpriced in myopinion. Overall and taking everything in consideration - it’s a 5 stars spot. I’ll give one star for the meatballs and Caesar salad. Both were decent. Chicken Marsala was the worst I’ve ever tried.... Completely bland and the chicken was cheap. Rigatoni Bolognese was tasteless, it actually didn’t taste like bolognese sauce,too much sugar or sweetness. I don’t think that they have a chef. Maybe they ran out of garlic, salt, and pepper.
