We have been ordering from Amicci's for over 15 YEARS. When the pizza is made the way you order it, it is the best pie around!... Sadly, the odds of getting what you ordered continue to be surprisingly unlikely and have been for years (even WELL before thepandemic). More times than not (no exaggeration - MORE times than NOT), the pizza arrives missing SOMETHING. Today it wasmissing mushrooms (as pictured). Extra pizza Sauce was also invoiced but the pizza arrived dry and had hardly any sauce on it(which is why we make sure to order EXTRA). The mushroom addition was a $2 upcharge on the extra-large and there was NO mushroomon the pizza. You'll see a lot below about wanting to do better and wanting to call and 'make it right', but from ourexperience, it's just lip service. If they truly wanted to satisfy the customer, they would MAKE THINGS RIGHT the FIRST time.Serving since 1982, they've had DECADES to employ a system that ensures pizzas are built to customer specifications. No onewants a discount or free pizza for the NEXT TIME they are hungry, they want to make the CURRENT situation better by offering toREMAKE and REDELIVER the order (I have YET to hear anyone get offered a redeliver). You cannot upcharge a customer for a toppingthat doesn't get delivered and refuse to compensate the customer for the missing topping - that's called theft. You want to knowa good place to start? Refund the mushroom topping of $2 back to my AMEX ending in 82000. Order #84 on 09/29/2022. I will beHAPPY to post an update as to whether or not that happened on my next review... UPDATE - The manager did reach out, was superpolite, professional, and issued a partial chargeback. We are hopeful that future orders will be double checked for accuracy. Read more
the pizza is really good, didn?t have much sauce which is a problem with most places and everything is so good about it. their... mozzarella bread is phenomenal and has so much flavor. delivery was only $3 and the delivery person was so kind and caring. Read more

I'm so disappointed in Amicci's. I've been ordering pizza from them for a long time and they just keep going down in quality.... They got rid of the no delivery fee to Hamtramck residents. Okay, that's fine. The pandemic hit small business hard. But thenthey keep messing up my orders or the pizza was not edible. I kept getting pizzas that are under cooked, the cheese not meltedand the vegetable toppings crunchy. It's like they tried to rush it and took the pizza out of the oven before it was cooked.Absolutely disgusting. And this kept happening. They refused to refund me and only give me a credit. I'm tired of credits foreverytime they screw up! I started going to Jets in Hamtramck and it's much better. I don't plan on going back to Amicci'sunless they prove to be better quality. Read more
