Overall pretty good. The sampler plate is a very generous portion; the meat was great and the sweet potato fries really hit the... spot. I didn?t love the sauce, though. It?s a little too sweet and viscous for me. I think the spicy one especially could usesome spice and heat. Read more
Loved this island BBQ joint. Great no frills BBQ. Delicious flavor on all the items that we had. The chicken and ribs were... tender and tasty. The definite star of the meal was the loaded fries! So awesome! Loaded with cheese, cilantro sauce, pico degallo, and chicken (you choose the meat). I?d go back just for those! The employees were great too. Tasty BBQ and salad. We ordered the sampler plate, the Hanalei salad and sweet potato fries. They actually ran out of chicken... right before us!! Solid BBQ for a solid price. For the dollar value, you are getting a ton of food. Came around 7pm on a weekday. Waited maybe 10... minutes and food came out hot and fast. Jam packed with fries, mac salad, chicken and ribs. Worth every penny. Make sure tostock up on some bbq sauce. They have a sink outside for you to wash your hands after you feast like a king.
