Wonderful charming atmosphere to enjoy a nice but casual meal in Hanalei. Best vintage mai tai that is not too sweet, great old... fashioned, ahi tuna and wagyu beef. Top it off with a great wine selection and dessert! Read more

Best elevated food in town! Service was good. We had a large party and we had to sit at two separate tables but the place is... small so understandable. They were out of the wagyu coulotte and the menu is small so that was disappointing. Our oneappetizer did not come out until entrées were served so the timing and pace could have been better. The food was excellenthowever and presented beautifully. Ordered the leek salad made with soba noodles and the rack of lamb. Both were incredible. Had the ice cream pie which was a great way to end the meal. Overall, best food on the north shore and highly recommend! Getreservation though! Read more

On our last night in Kauai, we traveled a short way from our lodging to check out Postcards Restaurant, and we are so glad we... did. My wife and I arrived a bit before they opened, and found out they were booked for the evening (and not quite open yet).Jeff, the bartender then told us if we could stop back in 30 minutes when rhey opened he could most likely get us in at the bar.He did, and the service (from greeting to leaving after the incredible meal) was top notch. Jeff is super knowledgeable aboutfood, wine and life. We got the chef special as well as one of the other signature dishes and followed it up with a greatdessert. Wow. Wow. Wow. This has definitely become a favorite and we will be back. Make a reservation, but sit at the bar andlet Jeff and team take care of you. You will not be disappointed. Read more

From start to finish this was a fabulous meal. We were celebrating a marriage (and unknowingly also a baby announcement!) and... wanted a nice sit-down option for post-nuptials. The cocktails were delightful, and all the food was phenomenal. We had themarket fish ( blue marlin), wagyu beef, ahi tuna, and tofu. All the dishes were cooked to perfection and also platedbeautifully. Not to mention the Vegan chocolate cake and the cheesecake. Thank you for helping us celebrate two amazing eventswith our family! Highly recommend! Read more

Wonderful experience at this adorable little joint. Walked in after a long day of hiking and they were able to sit us at the... bar, may want to consider a reservation ahead of time if you can though. Jeff the bartender as wonderful! Also my tofu dish wasdelicious. Appreciate the creativity and eclectic nature of the dishes. Overall a much better experience than any other sit downdining restaurant experience we?ve had while on the island. Upscale and classy but okay to wear hiking clothes if you didn?tbring a change of clothes. Read more

Cute cottage. Nice outside seating options. Wonderful service from the moment you step in. Water glass never empty, friendly... waitress. Food was wonderful and fresh! We didn't get pictures of everything. Marlin ceviche was fresh nice lemony brightnessserved with pistachios on top. Kobe steak was very nice. Sauce served with it was wonderful, with a touch of fivespice. Seared Ahi was super tender, slightly more seared then I like and a touch more salt then I prefer,on the outside, butoverall, a delightful dish! Watermelon juice with a squeeze of lime was so refreshing! Pro tip: Must save room for thecheesecake even if you don't like it or too full!! Chocolate Tart was wonderful too. But you should not leave here without thecheesecake, even to go! Thank for a wonderful meal and dining experience. Read more

You need a reservation as it gets packed in the evening hours, however, I wouldn't recommend it over the Dolphin if you're... looking for diversity. They have a limit menu which may curtail a few appetites. Seafood and Salad, nothing too filling. Theirdrinks and special cocktails were good though! Read more
