Brisket was horrible...1/3 of it was fat..was tough & didn't taste good. Baked beans & coleslaw was not tasty. The bbq sauce... was icky. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE..asked for manager..waitress said not available!!! Don't go here expecting good tasting brisket. Would NEVER recommend this place!!!! Read more
Out of first 2 choices. Steak very tough. Ordered sweet potato, it came in a small side dish cup not a whole baked potato, Our... salads were ptiful. Not usual salad greens a half of thin onion ring thin small cucumber slice. Servers were nice but notgoing back till hopfully things improve. Read more
I rarely get steak while eating out anymore due the current inflation situation. My daughter and I each got the 12 Oz ribeye... meal and it was a great deal! The steak was cooked perfectly to order (ordered mine medium). The baked potato was actually bakedpotato sized and not tiny and the garlic bread was super yummy. Also the waitress was great. The only complaint that I had atall was that they were out of all of their soup for the evening and the salads were only okay, but hey I wasn't there for thesalad! Read more
We ate dinner at Drakes tonight. my husband ordered a steak cooked medium. After it was sat down and he cut into it appeared to... be medium rare. he ate around the edges and the attempted to eat the middle and it was completely rare. he could not eat therest and ate the rest of his potato and my fried shrimp. when our waitress finally came to check and bring us our bill, she wasnice but did not check on us after we received our food, we were able to make her aware of the problem and asked for a refundbecause he could not eat the steak. we would have settled for at least half of the money because he at the sides, a baked potatoand salad, he could not eat his toast because it was too hard, but we were only given a $5 discount. this was addressed with themanager at the restaurant and she stated that she would have to speak to a hire up because she can't change it. she stated thatthe person she spoke with was Jennifer. we were not given any other compensation for this meal and no other discounts weregiven. so my husband paid over $16 for a baked potato and a very small side salad. which is just ridiculous. My server Ariana was very professional and very kind, she left no stone un turned. Excellent service. I ordered the 16 oz... ribeye, it was pretty fatty but cooked very well. I would recommend eating here. Read more
Me andy husband both ordered the Trifecta. It has 3 meat brisket, pulled pork, ribs, 2 sides, choice of soup or salad. It took... for ever to get just our soup and salads. ( People that came in after us was already eating their main meal.) When our meal cameout we only had 2eats on our plate. (Brisket and pulled pork ) They was at the most maybe a serving spoon size not much at all.I asked about the ribs she said they was out but they substituted it with extra pulled pork. I showed her our plates ( realizingshe is just the waitress not the cook or manager ) explained to her that it didn't look any difference in the 2. If they wasgoing to do that I would have rather it be brisket. Well that would be an extra 2.00 she said. Now remind you they was out ofthe ribs we was supposed to be getting already also no extra pulled pork. So she goes and talks to another waitress. Instead ofthe other waitress coming to talk to us they go to the computer and talk. I walk over there and try to talk to her and explainto her also. She starts off with well my manager is not going to give you a refund. That's not what we asked for we want to know1 why are going to be still charged for 3 meats when only getting 2. If so why did we not get the extra pulled pork or Evan getan option to choose. She states yes you will still be charged the same price. Your server should have told you. Well she didn'tand we didn't get the extra. This we back and forth for a bit finally I told to go get the manager. Later she came back and saidwell we can take 2.00 off your bill is this ok. By this time we had been there over 3 hours both bathrooms were out of service Iwas frustrated and ready to go. I said that's fine. Read more
