The food was great! Definitely recommend the Gourmet Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup! Calm and "at-home" atmosphere. This is a laid back, home cooking place. Yes, you wait on your food a little longer than normal and yes, you do get it in bits... and pieces. After saying that, their food is really good. Best homemade pies I've tasted in awhile (my favorite is chocolate).They care about their food and want you to eat healthy. There are no short cuts. They actually make whip cream from scratch! We stopped in for lunch. So thankful we did. Wonderful homemade food. Made by a wonderful couple who run the place just the two... of them. We had 3 littles with us, they were wonderful with them. She had puzzles and games for them. Food was Great and came ingood time. We will go back if we are in Hannibal again. Read more
