Compared to the other Bonchon, this place was awful. Boneless chicken wings were essentially chicken nuggets, flavor was poor... and didn?t have the amazing crisp expected when getting Korean fried chicken. Fried pickles didn?t even have a pickled taste andfelt a day old. White rice was dry and pot stickers were actively bad and tasted like they must?ve been purchased from a dollarstore. Great experience here! Got the bulgogi tacos and spicy chicken strips. Both were delicious. Warning though, the spicey wings are... actually pretty spicy, so if you aren't good with hot food, I'd suggest getting another flavor. Read more
This shouldn?t be allowed to operate under the bonchon license /brand. The strips here are not consistent with the normal... aesthetic, taste and quality. These strips have the texture of frozen Tyson tenders. Order from any other bonchon and you willnotice they have a more randomized fried textured. They probably just double fry frozen Costco tenders and put sauce on top. Thechicken inside is dry. The strips pre-pandemic/before august 2020 were phenomenal. It?s gone down from there. The strips arelike chicken nugget size. Do yourself a favor and drive to the Columbia location. It is phenomenal all around and the sameprice. We also love the bulgogi fried rice but here it was mushy and lacking flavor. You couldn?t pay me to come back here andeat for free. The place is fine! I dined in around lunchtime on the weekends, and the folks were helpful with providing me how to order. For... the food, I ordered seasoned fries and wings with the half and half soy garlic and spicy. The fries were great as the seasoningon the fries with the cheese on top don?t miss. As I?ve eaten at various branches of bonchon, this spicy flavoring meansbusiness. It hurts in all the best of ways, and the soy garlic was salty and could really taste the awesome flavoring. The sizeof the wings leaves something to be desired from what I?ve eaten in the past, but overall, I had a good experience! I went herewith my coworkers, and they seemed to enjoy themselves too! This place is not serving Bonchon fried chicken ! Ordered strips Hal and half , I have had Bonchon multiple times from other... locations and this is. NOT the same. Looks like they bought Tyson chicken strips from the store and dipped them in their sauce.What a rip off !! DO NOT GO HERE !!! If you want real Bonchon go to another location !! Read more
Most expensive fried chicken ever. Last visit Nov2021 Korean double fried chicken wings were great (juicy and flavorful) and so... was their bulgogi. However, $20 for bulgogi and rice is ridiculous compared to other options nearby. My first visit(pre-pandemic) was just okay. Wings weren't so good.
